Turn 18 in the books and a great contest shaping up, but then another drop appears to affect the balance of power.
On turn 17, the Troll owned 2 regions (and only one other player had two), but then on turn 18 he dropped and his two regions went neutral.
I saw no flare-ups on the site, so am confused on this drop without a replacement. Not blaming anyone, just sad at these continuing drops with consequences to game strategy.
Not sure who will benefit or be hurt by the drop, but I really wish we could avoid the drops or get a substitute player in there for a viable position.

I agree - I'm in this game (not as the TR, obviously) and was quite surprised to see that drop. It's seemed a fairly evenly matched game up to this point and that's just a damn shame. Probably more a personal issue than anything else, I'm guessing, but I wish he (or she) had asked for a standby to come in and take the position.

Was this game the one titled 'September Steel'? If so it may have been Cloud as he dropped all games...

Wonder if there's a way to have an automatic alert sent to Rick and UM if a player misses two turns in a row, and then an e-mail could be sent out to that player plus the first standby on the list for the player so "speak now or forever hold your peace" about staying in the game, and if there's no reply the standby could step in right away?

Turn 24 in the books for this anonymous fast Rex game.
Only 7 players still slugging it out (BL, DW, EL, GN, RA, SO, WI).
All regions are owned: EL 1, WI 2 and 5, DW 3 and 6, GN 4 and 7, BL 8 and 10, RA 9).
BL and EL not on Council.
Campaign is Rex only, so no imminent victory.
DW has most overall status points, but GN in 2nd and on a trajectory to overtake. All others in a pretty tight status point grouping.
Since it is anonymous, I will leave the update there with only info available on all players' turns.

Congratulations to DuPont, who won as the Sorcerer on Turn 36 by Rex. As the primary recipient of his evil spells, I can personally attest to how well he played his kingdom.
By the way, congrats on the first DuPont Gold.
