Speaking from experience, it is not fun.
Also, as someone who does have a gaming budget, it's a fun-per-slot issue for me.

Perhaps a Warlords format with 6 players each controlling two kingdoms might be in order? Similar to HH's dual duel. Just a thought.

I know I really like the two kingdom version better. i would think it is a little more forgiving about drops as well.

I can see both sides of this. My first thought is Alamaze was designed as at least a 12 kingdom, full diplomacy game. Highest caliber strategy that can be provided.
I feel for the Warlords players - if you are in, you're in for good. Sometime later this year, I hope to have Gray Mouser have his first Warlords game.

Ruingurth, this game is full. It probably wouldn't have been the best place for you to start, though.
