This is a COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS game (in other words, the players don't even know which personae are in the game), where each player controls two Kingdoms. The standard rules in place are:
1) Ally declarations, trades, and gifts are only allowed between your own two Kingdoms
2) Enemies can be freely declared, but you cannot later declare an enemy neutral
3) No HC issues are allowed to help another player's Kingdoms
4) All HC issues must be by SECRET ballot, and if a player accidentally proposes an open ballot issue, all players must abstain on that vote (i.e. it fails)
5) No drops before T15 (i.e. final orders issued on T15, per Rick's request)
6) Notify everyone as soon as you decide to drop, rather than allowing the computer to do it
7) No sending messages to other players by using new emissary names
Winner is via either Rex (four regions) by one Kingdom or Team (six regions) by two Kingdoms. A victory in this game won't count for 12- or 15- player game status points, but will count for a Warlords victory.
Originally there was a thought that the game would use the Pagan variant (i.e. no High Priestesses), but I forgot to remind Ry Vor of this nuance in my game formation summary, and so it formed without that rule. Half of the players didn't even realize it was supposed to be a Pagan game, however, and every player ended up being OK with just dropping that variant. We have a cool and very flexible community!
The players just finished T3. Some key updates are:
T1: The Warlock kingdom won election to the High Council with a bid of 39,227 gold and bid for the issue to raise his own influence.
T2: WA won the HC issue and bid again to raise his own influence.
No other Kingdom bid to join the HC this turn.
The Demon Princes traded a large amount of gold to the Black Dragon for an unknown supply of food.
The Red Dragon King has declared the Gnome King an ally! (NOTE: This turned out to be an accidental declaration, and would be fixed the following turn.)
The Troll King has declared the Giant King a sworn enemy!
T3: WA won the HC issue and bid again to raise his own influence.
The Giant kingdom won election to the High Council with a bid of 38,161 gold.
The Red Dragon King has declared the Gnome King neutral. (NOTE: Fixing the accidental declaration the turn prior. Although some information ended up being leaked, it's a BIG bummer to lose two orders so early!)
The Elven kingdom has gained control of Oakendell.
The Witchlord kingdom has gained control of Northern Mists.
The Darkelven kingdom has gained control of Synisvania. (NOTE: Interesting that DA took R9 rather than R6!)
I think T4 just ran, and so I will post again when my source provides me with the latest turn results!
