Many thanks to all for your kind words!

Drafting question. We're just about done with the Zone allocations, and now we're in uncharted territory. Do you want to:

1) Reveal Zone allocations and teams now, and then select your three specific Kingdoms, have a Kingdom reveal, and then do the last optional substitution?

2) Make Kingdom allocations privately, reveal everything including teams, and then do the last optional substitution?

Please vote, if one option gets three votes we will go with that, if it deadlocks 2-2, Ry Vor gets the deciding vote, thanks.

I believe that every team will make one change to their kingdom selections.  There is absolutely no reason to do this any other way.  Once you have a zone selected you have locked out the other teams from selecting those other 12 kingdoms.  Therefore, there is nothing to be lost by sowing misinformation in the initial list of team selections.  Now, while everyone is contemplating how their teams will fare against the posted list each team can make a change so the discussion I just described becomes inaccurate to some small degree.  Smile

Bets on which kingdoms are traded?

RD for TY?  While I like the mobility of flight I love the idea of attacking six popcenters each turn.  That can only be done with the six groups possessed by the TY.

PI for UN or AT for DE?  Both of these kingdoms are sea-faring positions and there is no reason for teammates to compete in the seas.  Both DE and UN have unique abilities that no other kingdom possesses.

HA for GN? This team has both magic and military, so money will be needed to support those.  HA is better at this because HA accesses hobbit trading company and gains 25% to trades (even among teammates - standing order?).

IL for RA? No kingdom on this team has the military strength to fend off the others.  What happens when SA and GN/HA pour into Arcania?  The IL needs time to build his magic strength and cannot do so on the front lines.

Any other thoughts from the peanut gallery or bets on which kingdoms will be traded prior to the start?  [Certainly an interesting theoretical discussion, in my mind at least.  Smile]

Yes interesting to take extra steps. Of course I have my ideas but do not want to influence anyone's choices as I am in the game. But have no problem with other outsiders saying what they think or like about the teams.
