The Choosing 1st Full-On
#11
I sent you a personal message about this but if it's not too much trouble, could this game be created today? That way, some of us could start filling out our orders and handle some diplomacy efforts if next week is going to be busy with work/holiday.

I intend to create this game sometime after turns are processed today.

I think this is going to be a strange game. As the Evil Gnome, I'm surrounded by wizards, SO in 4 and IL in 8. As tier 2 magic, the GN is more of a magic kingdom than anything else so I count as half a wizard (hey, no height jokes). Also on the map, we have DU in 1, NE in 2, WA in 3, and both dragons flying around (BL in 5, RD spread out).

Perhaps the title of this game should reflect the ancient lore of when wizards and dragons ruled the realm? Heck, we even have the AN in 10 to read us about ourselves...

To be honest, I think you'd better get used to seeing four or five Wizard Kingdoms being selected in any Choosing game where the full range of choices are available.

And I can remember lots of criticisms of how I must hate wizard kingdoms because I kept taking things from them (like nerfing Chaos and eliminating invisible army groups, among other adjustments).  How you like me now?

I don't remember people saying you hated Wizard Kingdoms, just that the changes would have a disproportionate impact on them (which was and remains true).

Now the pendulum has swung the other way, as pendulums tend to do, and they're looking pretty strong. Not a critique, just an observation.

We'll see how long it lasts that way, before more adjustments are made. Again, as adjustments tend to do.
