Tomag Ironfist's Introduction
#1
Hi all!

Most of you probably recognize me by now since I've thrown myself into eight games now within the first two months of playing, but think it's still appropriate for me to introduce myself!

My name is Aidan Johnson, and I am a college student that hails from Kansas in the United States.

I have played games for pretty much my entire life. I beat the original Spyro the Dragon when I was 2.5 years old, and I've played video games fervently ever since. About four years ago, I made my debut in the professional e-sports world as I competed in the NASL Qualifiers for Starcraft II (Protoss ALL the way Smile)

After competing in the E-Sports circuit for about a year, I decided that it wasn't for me, and instead invested my time into becoming a competitive runner. I have competed in multiple national caliber meets, and am a part of an All-American junior 4x400 team from 2013.

During this time, I was originally introduced to Risk, followed by Settlers of Catan. I have mastered both games, and neither require much thought or effort into strategy since I have become so acquainted with both of them.

I have been recently introduced to Alamaze, which is providing me that strategic, in-depth, thoughtful fulfillment that has been void in me for awhile. I am LOVING the experience, and I am glad this game has such an awesome community!

I currently am a part of my university's track and field team, a competitive e-sport player in DOTA 2 and Path of Exile, an avid disc golf player, and Settlers of Catan extraordinaire. My goal now is to be a lord to be reckoned with in the world of Alamaze!  Cool

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

Old Timers? Rick- for shame.

:-)

I guess I qualify since I have said before- my brother and I used to wait and wait and wait for our thick envelope to arrive at our mailbox in 1989! That means I've been playing Alamaze off and on for almost 30 years.

And I remember when postage was one of my biggest expenses.  Confused  Pittney Bowes and I go way back.

Old Timer.  Yes, interesting phrase.  Here in Dallas, we keep hearing how Tony Romo is getting older.  Why does he do that?  Can't he see it is not helping?
