Has anyone seen higher death chances for leaders and wizards in battles in Third Cycle? I just fought a battle where I experienced .20% (not 20% but 1/5 of 1%) attrition and lost a P3.

not sure about wizards but every encounter I go into I lose a leader. (No not every encounter... but I would be surprised if it isnt at least 75%)

The only potential change to death chances in 3rd Cycle may be the incorporation of a weapon artifact reducing the chance of the top ranking leader being killed.

I was losing leaders and wizards fairly often in 2nd Cycle as well. I haven't noticed any drastic change in 3rd Cycle.

Death rates have been expanded to thousandths of a percent which is better than 2nd Cycle but you may have hit that rare curve. So a wizard may have a 99.565% survival rate in 3rd Cycle but there's still a chance of dying from the battle/encounter. That's a difference from 2nd Cycle not to mention traits/artifacts/brigades (like scorpions) which also affect death/survival rates.

Would it be a correct guess that if you choose option 3 you are basically adding a set number to your chance vs a %? Like HH figured he was at less than 1% damage but if he attacked on a 3 perhaps he was really much higher because tactic 3 does not multiple your less than 1% by say 2 it actually add to it. I am not looking for any actual numbers more just a reason.
