Dark Elf wins game 305 on Turn 22 Rex

Nice write-up young Rogal.  It's telling that Gray Mouser did not get to level 19 like a few others.  He is an average player. Blush

So can we assume The Underworld was an enjoyable experience?

I loved it and really could study trends of others.  I never got to really go after who I wanted to, but I can tell you that those who did not do much training, I was moving agents your way.  You really learn a lot about all kingdoms by charting who is doing what and what not.   I really would like to know what happened to others to see what agents were doing that were not mine.  My guess, the Black dragons were the 2nd most powerful underworld with 5 hired agents and 41 trains.  His agents were trained early and my guess is 3 level 10's by 10?  Playing this empire also kind of got rid of some of the fear factor that it causes for now I really know its limits, but now what are its strengths.

P.S. Gray Mouser An attempt was made to steal the Ring of Spells from the 2nd Red Dragon:
Normal security was present, however, no agent on counter espionage was
noted in the area. Carefully watching for all types of peril, the team made
good its escape. The Ring of Spells in the the 2nd Red Dragon was stolen.

I joined this game on turn 8 as a standby. Mad Hatter had left the position in good shape, but with a couple of problems. He had given up his southern pop centers early on and winter was coming. He had picked Warlord as an ESO but had not had many battles, so that proved impossible to hit, though I tried hard for it, hitting a pop center every turn and hitting a couple of groups also. Finally, he had ignored the 3-4 Unusual Sightings he had passed. I immediately went back to those and picked up 3 nice artifacts and an average one. I cleared the DA out of my region (Talking Mountains), then my troops suffered badly from the 3 winter turns (food and gold), so I had to rebuild that a bit. Then I headed into Amberland to take that region.

With two regions under control around turn 20, I was prepared to head into Arcania. But the UN started taking artifacts from me, so I decided to go find his pop centers instead. But then the game ended. With two regions and a good number of artifacts, I was happy with getting third (and only missed second by about an artifact Smile). I know I should have guarded my artifacts, but my higher agents had all died on missions and my level 1 agents were not where I needed them for just a couple of turns. I was happy to have a P7 wizard at one point, with a P5 and 2 rings, but then the UN took one of those rings.

I really enjoyed the game and am pleased that Mad Hatter got the Reds off to a great start.
