I will say that for us, when we started, there was a difference of opinion between the DU/WA players and the RD player. We wanted him to move into the north right away and he preferred to go after the GN. So we then focused our turn 1 move against the other team but of course, got hit by the PI/DE/NE as we'd more or less expected. After a few turns, the RD player handed off to a new player and from that point on we were all on board, but that did put us behind the eight ball in a major way.

It was pretty clear that the three of you weren't on the same page. We kept waiting for the Red to hammer us and that was part of the reason we hit you so hard. It would have been a different game for sure!

It may have made sense to focus on the other teams, but with you surrounding R2 we couldn't chance it.

I had hoped early by not engaging we might let you guys go a different direction. Even left the group there to no have battles... but sadly you did what you should have an ran us through.

Region 2 should have been our target from the start.

It helped that we had a great starting position to help one another.

PI - AQ
NE - CM
DE - HR

We really did get lucky. My Pirates could have started way down in Runnimede and that would have changed a lot.
