What do you want to play next?

I am thinking 5 teams would be better for this leaving out the dispersed kingdoms.   They tend to cause an early confrontation that could get in the way for letting a newer player take there first region and build/expand from there.

I am fine with the teams Ry Vor set up but do feel PI SA is at a clear disadvantage

OK, maybe as JF says, we are better for our purposes in this game to not have the Red Dragon.  And the five pairings as well may be better than six.  I'm fine with the pairings JF has.  We may be close to completing this if we get some responses to the email that was sent out yesterday.

One more non podium player and one more experience player and we can get started.  Ry Vor has made this a very good deal for everyone involved as it does not count against any slots.  I remember having a game similar to this when I was still a few games in and learned a lot. It is not just learning the rules but also learning how to gauge what is around you and what to expect.  3rd cycle is much more involved in this aspect of the game than back in the 80s 2nd cycle games.

Assuming we will get the last experienced player shortly, let's recap on the other aspects of creating the game.

2x weekly, I think Tuesday / Friday may be due up.
Rex or Usurper victory conditions.

Pick teammates, then the order of selection for the teams is reverse order of combined Valhalla status points. 

Diplomacy within the team only.  No declaration of allies outside the team, or proposing High Council issues benefiting another Confederation.

I will look up the status points later but here is my idea to get this started quickly and allow for anon play as originally preferred by Drogo when he started this thread.

-Pairings will be highest status points with lowest.
-the mentors will send to signup there team preferences ranking them 1 Thru 6, also specify which kingdom you would be playing with each pair (maybe run the list by your partner before submitting)
-Ry Vor will use these lists and the rankings to determine who gets which kingdom pairings
Then game is started as an anon game. Only able to talk to your teammate
