We have a few new players, who just missed out on the Anonymous that started today.
Players who have not played Duel, you can still try one free, and would be great if you mentored a new player in their first Alamaze experience in a DUEL. Please check to see if they post under DUEL Arena. Mentors of new players playing their first DUEL also play free (no slot either).

I would be more concerned about balance of locations. Having one team member stranded from the rest of your team sucks and makes for an easier conquest by the other team.

How about splitting the map with Oakendell, Torvale, Runnimede, Arcania and Southern Sands vs Northern Mists. Talking Mountains, Eastern Steppes, Synisvania, and Amberland. Either kingdom in each region can be chosen. Teammates are assigned by experience with 1 paired with 10, 2 with 9, 3 with 8, 4 with 7, and 5 and 6 would be by die roll to add as 5th member. This region pairing leaves each side with 1 kingdom totally protected in the rear. I would also suggest that the most experienced player on each side take Amberland, and Arcania.

Both teams games seem to be hung up. Perhaps people would prefer another Anonymous game?
