In plains
P2 stunned highest RD leader
P3 with Presence + Valor spell
RD had no wizards

I looked at both starting kingdom armies so I knew my offense was slightly stronger than his and if I got lucky with my poison food even better. What I was really unsure about in this battle was if I could over come that massive defense of the RD kingdom brigades with a couple wizards. Also I gained 10% for defense and I had declared enemy the turn before.

Great battle!

Even the Red Dragons may not want to take on a well-led Amazon army in the plains where they have Mastery.  This battle they also had superior leadership, an active P3, P2, defensive bonus.  Well matched battle but given all the factors I would have expected the Amazons to win, but the Red Dragons defensive ratings are unmatched.

Thanks for sharing.  Overall, things look pretty even in this Titan match but the RD losses may change the strategy of the Valiant somewhat.

OK, FIVE turns have now been processed. Winter is upon us, the Cimmerian howls echo through the land . . .

Team Evil: SO/DE/GN/BL/NE/AM
Team Valiant: RD/RA/DA/DU/NO/CI

I am not certain whether either of us have had a good start, a poor one, or merely average. I remain undecided!

As things stand now:

HC seats (two for team Evil, three for team Valiant):
DE and SO (two evil, evil beings);
DA, RA and RD (three valiant, virtuous Exemplars.)

Cities (six for Evil, five for Valiant, and one for Humans):
The Evil team controls CD (BL); DK (NE); QC (AM); IN (SO); NK (SO); and YD (GN);
The Valiant Exemplars control: CU (CI); KU (DA); OP (RA); UM (RA); YU (NO);
Humans control: OV.

Regions (two Evil regions and three Valiant regions):
Runnimede (GN), and Torvale (AM);
Arcania (RA), Southern Sands (NO), and Synisvania (DA.)

i'm thinking this might be the most contested Titan game through 7 turns we have seen in the Resurgence.

Thanks for the updates, Warmaster.

EIGHT turns have now been processed.  Alamaze trembles!

Team Evil: SO/DE/GN/BL/NE/AM
Team Valiant: RD/RA/DA/DU/NO/CI

Feels like the mid-game now!  Destruction and mayhem are on the rise.

Another intriguing military engagement:
Battle between the 1st Amazons army group and the 2nd Ranger army group in the plains of
              area SD:

                                                 Amazons                                      Ranger

                                      Commanders
Grand Marshal Circi Halfmoon    Grand Marshal Knight of Kyr
Major General The Spear         Commander Vaughn the Slight
General Daughter of Sun         Captain Major Trevor Brightsun

                                       Wizards
Power-3 Aryia               Power-2 Lady of Grenwild
                       Power-1 Phoebie Night       Power-2 Mouser
                                                   Power-1 Stormbringer

                                       Brigades
2 Amazons Veteran              3 Rangers Veteran
2 Amazons Regular              3 Rangers Regular
1 Westmen Elite                1 Rohirrim Regular
2 Westmen Veteran              3 Zamorans Regular
2 Westmen Regular              1 Zamorans Green
                    2 Zealots Veteran
                    1 Zealots Regular

                                     Combat Factors
Very Good Leaders              Very Good Leaders
                      Light Attrition

                                   Tactical Selection
                    Determined Attack              Organized Withdrawal

The 2nd Ranger morale was boosted due to the valor of the Zamoran brigades. When the sun
had risen to its highest point, with a shout the Lioness in command spurred her mount
forward, the 1st Amazons army group eagerly swept toward the defensive position of the 2nd
Ranger army group led by Grand Marshal Knight of Kyr. Knowing that their liege had
declared the Amazons to be an enemy of their interests, the Ranger troops were invigorated
and had their morale raised as they prepared to battle their declared enemy! Across the
field, the Ranger's forces saw the banner of the Amazons 1st group, it's chosen. As the
attackers crossed the rolling plains, the first missiles sang out.

                                 - Long Range Missilers -

Long range missilers from both sides joined the fray and fired their arrows. The large
shields of the Westmen troops within the 1st Amazons reduced opposing missile damage. The
Amazons ranks imposed light losses upon the Ranger forces in return, the Ranger caused
    light damage to their enemy.

                                 - Short Range Missilers -

Short range missilers from both sides joined the fray and fired their arrows. The Amazons
ranks imposed minor losses upon the Ranger ranks and, in return, the Ranger claimed light
    casualties against the enemy.

                                       - Magic -

Amazons mages dismounted just past where the defensive missiles were falling and began an
animated incantation. Incanting forcibly Aryia's presence wizard force changed the course
of the battle. Blinding light shot forth from him. Power-3 wizard Aryia slowly spoke in an
arcane language, gestures building to a crescendo. A light sparkling mist seemed to fall
briefly over the troops, and then they grew clearly more intrepid. Power-1 Wizard Phoebie
Night glowered intently and issued indecipherable utterances. He then created a powerful
warding, which would protect the heroes and wizards of his force from the black magics of
any opposing spellcasters. Ranger conjurers dismounted barely beyond the range of
defending bowmen and began an animated spell. Power-2 wizard Lady of Grenwild while
seemingly detached from all else, seemed to draw within himself and began to incant. A
faintly visible blue shimmering began to surround the troops and noticeably lessened the
effectiveness of the arrows of the defenders. Power-2 wizard Mouser began sorcerous
incantations in an unknown tongue. A dark mist seemed to fall briefly over enemy lines,
and then they grew clearly more fearful of the battle. Power-1 Wizard Stormbringer made a
series of intricate gestures. He then created a powerful warding, which would protect the
heroes and wizards of his force from the black magics of any opposing spellcasters. The
mages did not appreciably effect the outcome of the battle.

                                      - Artifact -

By raising the Great Axe of Hurblind, Ranger Grand Marshal Knight of Kyr inspired his
force greatly and sought out the Amazons leaders as the magical axe slew enemy forces. The
presence of the Green Dragon mates, Tornad and Sylva, invigorated the Ranger forces as
they slew enemy forces with their acid dragon breath.

                                       - Charge -

The outcome of the battle was still very much in doubt. Quickly, Grand Marshal Circi
Halfmoon led the Amazons riders drove bare heels into their steeds down upon the
exceptional horsemen of the Ranger. The Amazons lines dealt out minor damage upon the
Ranger lines in response, the Ranger inflicted light losses to their foes.

                                     - Conclusion -

With higher than expected losses, Grand Marshal Knight of Kyr had no choice but to order
the Ranger force to withdraw. Retreating caused additional losses for the Ranger were
minor. Amazons casualties were put at 13.67%. All Amazons leaders survived the battle.
Fighting gloriously was Circi Halfmoon, who once again has distinguished himself. He is
now a Lord Commander. Daughter of Sun distinguished himself and has been elevated as a
Major General. All the Amazons wizards survived the fray. Due to experience, victory and
valor, a Veteran Amazons brigade has been recognized as Elite! Earning distinction was an
Amazons brigade. They are now a Veteran brigade. Due to experience, victory and valor, a
Veteran Zealots brigade has been recognized as Elite! Due to experience, victory and
valor, a Veteran Zealots brigade has been recognized as Elite! An Zealots unit was awarded
promotion to Veteran status. The troops are eager for further glory: morale is up! Ranger
casualties were put at 18.75%. All Ranger leaders survived the battle. Impressing his
peers was Knight of Kyr, who once again has won further glory. He is now a Lord Commander.
All the Ranger wizards survived the fray. Due to experience, victory and valor, a Veteran
Rangers brigade has been recognized as Elite! Due to experience, victory and valor, a
Veteran Rangers brigade has been recognized as Elite! An Rangers unit earned promotion to
Veteran status. The toll of battle has lowered the group's morale.
