As the WA, I prefer to sit back and let things happen. I built a fleet in the Sea of Drowning and was using it for extra gold but one turn the DE suddenly took it. This was not needed - he'd taken his region long ago and I'd left him alone. I decided I would attack him and got lucky - finding his capital the first turn I looked and I saw it was packed with his people but not all that well defended. I got a group together but moved on it just as he and the DA launched mutual attacks on each other. So I got mixed up in a three-way war for the Eastern Steppes. I kept the DE from taking back his capital and eventually secured the region. Meanwhile, the DU had three regions (1,2,5) and clearly considered he might be a target of mine as he declared me an enemy, but I was not going to risk him getting a 4th region, and hit him in the Mists anyway. I had a big enough force that I could quickly jump to Oakendell even before I had the Mists nailed down and I was able to win pretty quickly.
Great game all!

Nice job, DuPont. I had dreams of winning this one. I got my second region quickly after the NE ticked me off. So, the Druids took Northern. Then Amberland looked open so I took it. Then I invaded Torvale and was getting ready to enter my 996 order, but that is when DuPont landed in Northern with lots of emissaries and troops. I had declared him enemy as a defensive measure, but it wasn't enough. I could not recover faster than he could take the region and then he moved into Oakendell. Well played.
