I created the game with random draft order (last 2 get Chiv). We'll need to set definitive Ally/NAP rules (maybe only 1 ally and 1 NAP allowed per kingdom at any given time?) and communication rules (only one posting to Forum per kingdom per turn?). And no one picks a dispersed kingdom? I'm pretty flexible as long as we get rules stated up front.
I'm travelling this weekend so wanted to get it made while I could. If it not what people wanted, someone can created correct version and I'll join when able to.
Here's what I propose as rules:
No Dispersed (since we only have 10) Communication Forum only and only every 3 turns (Turn results 0,3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30,33,36,39) HC issues can be open or secret 2 Allies allowed (per rules) No official NAPs- To be clear on this, on a communication turn you can ask/beg for help but there can be no overt "we don't attack each other for x turns" stuff. You CAN say "Help!! Calidor the vile Halfling Lord already has 3 regions and is about to crush me in Amberland." Or even "Not sure if anyone noticed that Calidor guy has 3 regions but maybe we should all attack him". See Below How do those sound? Also- Would anyone else like a function that enabled communication through the game client? I really miss the old Post Cards. I used to send fake ones to stir up trouble. This way we could send messages as our Kingdoms and not as Calidor the forum guy. PS: Go signup in the queue!

I wouldn't mind allowing for dispersed to be chosen but am good either way.

I think for Nap with the once every three turn communications. Maybe you guys allow a NAP for 3 turns. So there would no way to ask for renewal until the next communication turn. this way the NAP really is just a temporary thing and maybe just there to protect your back a few turns. Others could even try to read into it as to ask why do you need a nap from player A that only leave expansion in my direction.

Yep, 3 turn NAP but perhaps with a limit for extensions?

I am fine with the three turn NAP, though I like the limit for extensions.

OK this is where I see the rules:

(Example: NAP Agreed on results 3 runs to results 6. Cannot be renewed until 9) Sound good? Also- Any NAP number limit? I think the duration limit kind of solves the problem but we could cap it at 2 if there was a desire. |
