Glad everyone got this figured out and the game has started.
As there is a big range of experience, I'd politely request the more experienced players not seek and destroy the newer ones, at least not until turn 12 or so, unless attacked. Its up to you but it would be good to bring some new guys along.
New guys, ask general questions on the forum and you have that message on this thread with Draugr, a champion player, happy to work with you when you email him - just ask him for general tips to begin with, which may include:
1. Use all your orders but not all your gold on turn 1. Keep reserves until your economy has about doubled in size.
2. You'll likely move top noble(s) to the city in your region and recon it to see if anyone else moved nobles in.
3. You most likely want to Enamor your capital region on turn 1. There are exceptions for experienced players in the right circumstances, but its a pretty good rule of thumb.
4. Try to discover as much of your capital region as you can as quickly as you can.
5. Your early gains will likely be made by your nobles. When using your military, another rule of thumb (can be broken by some like the Red Dragons) are to have at least double your group's value vs. PC than the defense of the PC.
