Dark Elves were my very first kingdom choice in my first game and I loved them. I love the Rangers and Elves as well. All three are very similar and well balanced. You will love the Dark Elves.
The Gray Mouser tells me the Dark Elves still rock even striped of three traits in Maelstrom. Can dominate a capital region easier than most. An interesting choice between Elves and Dark Elves, certainly some similarities like forest affinity and archery, but different other traits on how the player approaches the game.
New players should review 4th Cycle Design Notes available when you log in. You will want to mesh kingdom with region as best possible.

I think we may have maybe two more at the moment. Hoping for six new/returning and pair up for Master / Apprentice but still open diplomacy.
When personas are listed, go ahead and claim a partner if you like, as Sea Dragon and Ashgar have identified, so that's one pair. Sea Dragon, you can just be Sea Dragon, we are 481 short of Sea Dragon 482.
BTW, I believe you can change your avatar (and choose your image) in the upper left under "User CP" here on the forum. Again, forum login is separate from the Alamaze game login, but pick the same name in both, please.

This will only be to form the teams. The draft will be handled after the teams are formed. This is not where we pick our regions or our kingdoms yet. Just setting up a Master/Apprentice team for the game.

Players can change their user name on the forum under the "User CP" about halfway down that menu. You have to save / confirm your changes.
