I have no issue acknowledging that the HA has been very effective against me.  I have learned so much from him.  The one thing he won't do is admit where he can't win.  He has only lost brigades anytime we have met in battle and the only time I have lost any brigades was when I took his city with a 245K defense.  I will continue to take these nice towns he has built up so that he won't be able to take them back.  All those greater castles will come in handy.  I won't be a threat to anyone for the rest of the game, but the HA will never be done with me.  If he takes the heat off for even a turn or two, I will control a region again and he knows it.  

I will keep him tied up and you feel free to do what you need to do.  The Rangers aren't going anywhere but Triumvia and Zanthia for the next 10 turns.  I won't even waste the time to hit Untamed Lands because it would take 2 turns to get there.

This has certainly been fun. I haven't seen a Ranger pirouette like this in AGES. It almost feels like I'm playing whack-a-mole-in-tights. And, bonus, I think we're almost even on brigade losses at this point! Granted, he's completely correct in that I've lost all of mine to his troops and his were sprinkled about the lawns of Destiny's End.

I shall continue to play gracious host with the most (PCs) in Triumvia and Zanthia. I might even consider recruiting a brigade or two in order to appear more fearsome to the dastardly Ranger.

You realize that your Army Group is going to be hunted down. I should be able to take it down in 2 battles yet again. The intercept range for the Rangers is decent, so I have a good chance of finding you. You may enjoy this victory that won't hurt as much as I wish it would, but it will be your last victory against my cities. You won't have enough strength to take anything over 100K again before the end of the game!!!!!!!

I am looking forward to our next meeting if you can't tell.
