AN - UN
As agreed, we are hopeful you can send us 20,000 gold for 1 food this coming turn and hope you have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy an amazing town in our fair region.
We also hope you have some nice training going on as we may need to retain your services at some point.

To the master of smoke and mirrors -
My apologies for taking your town. The geography of Krynn is such that if I hadn't it would have been turn 5 at the least before I got control of the region. I'm kind of shocked I got it on turn 3.
As you may have noticed, I taxed my village in your region so you now have control of it. I realized a village doesn't quite equal a town, so I'd be willing to agree to some additional reasonable compensation.
I will of course ransom the agent I captured for 1 gold.

Greetings. I am having the same difficulty as you described above. Your town in Zanthia would go a long way towards helping the situation. I have left it to produce for you, in good neighborly fashion, because I have not heard from you on your intentions. can we strike a deal?
TY-WA - I think we can certainly work a deal. How about a successful bounty spell thrown on Krynn in exchange for my taxing the town? Also, do you already have a diplo there this turn, or can I tax it next turn?

SO - UN Greetings to the Lord of the Underworld. Would you be interested in a retainer for future services, sir? I don't have anything in mind at this time but I am thinking that an insurance policy is often money well spent. Of course my wizards could do some spells for you but we also have one that dabbles in properties and he informs us he might have a small Hamlet with a water view that could be perfect for a client like yourself.

Great wise ones, indeed we will honor our word and this turn 20k gold for 1 food order will go in.
UN --> SO
Truly a wise wise leader you are, it isnt often people seek me out in friendship before wanting to have "work done". I will take that hamlet by the sea and bow to your kindness and have my ears open for anything you might need.
UN --> all
I know may of you look at your reports and think where should my expansions plans take me, who looks weak etc... Some may even be wondering if maybe the lord of light is weak, should I target him, he hasn't yet taken his region - know all my resources have been spent were they should training up the lads and it would be a mistake...
Also I have lowered the cost of training agents, this will be temporary so use it while you can

You can find a swampy hamlet in No Man's land within a days march of Mythgar. In spite of it's swampy nature it receives a lovely breeze from the Tempest Sea and is quite temperate year round. We know your reputation as a skilled trader. Perhaps when we have settled in after the winter you would consider us as a trading partner?

Yes Old one, you are quite right. True secrets are hard to come by unless you start with a common point as you and the Master of Illusions did to set up the search for your mysterious artifact that turns all things green. I would have had to scout for a common point and wait several turns to speak again so opted for the less than secret short cut. Just trying to keep to the spirit of the game and a "pretend" code. the last time it actually tripped up WA. Who would have thought!

Yep. And any who take advantage and jump to that spot are likely to meet angry agents and vengeful wizards
