Ballz of Steel? Where does Strillian get these names? The last one, Men of Steel, was a group of male strippers from New Zealand. Someone seems to have a fixation, just sayin...
1) Wookie, how do you know stripper troupe names?
2) I hear it as a Duke Nukem reference, personally.
Beat me to the punch. Where I heard about the Men of Steel is an interesting story.
I went to a show to see Beppe Gambetta. He is an outstanding Italian guitar player. He plays the folk circuit and festivals like Merlefest and Kerrville and he flatpicks in the style of Doc Watson.
He told a story of when he toured with a group made up of himself, Dan Crary, Tony Manus, and Don Ross. They all play acoustic instruments with steel strings so they called themselves The Men of Steel.
The tour was going well until they hit New Zealand. The first show they did the front row was full of scantily clad women who proceeded to throw undergarments on stage. It was then that the guys discovered that New Zealand has a very popular male stripper group by the same name.
Beppe tells the story with his very srtong Italian accent and ends it with, " eeze hard to compeeet when you only have a little peeek (pick)." And he holds up his guitar pick.
Now aren't you glad you asked?
I heard Blah Blah Blah Doc Watson!!!! One of the greatest guitarists in the history of the instrument. I remember watching a video that the smithsonian made of him playing. He was like 80 at the time and I was still mesmerized by his fretting. He was playing two melodies and keeping the rythmn all at the same time. Insane.

Sir you have no doubt seen our lovely town in our area. We have become quite attached to it and wonder if we might make you an offer to buy it from you. What we propose is to give you a village in terrain of the same type in the Sword Coast. Of course a village for a town is a one sided deal so we would throw in 2 bounty spells in Pelinor to be delivered by turn 10. Should any spell attempts fail we would continue to cast until they are successful.
Please consider this as we would like to stay and improve the town. Should we not be able to make a deal We will withdraw our folks this turn and levy additional taxes on the poor folks the following turn.
My scouts were able to track down the emissary that was headed to your town. He is doing an about face, grumbling about his superiors, and coming back to the capital. You have a deal. Let me know the location in the sword coast please, and the turns you expect to cast bounty if you have a plan that far ahead
IL - UN
That is excellent news. You may find the village by going west 15 leagues from the town I reside in in your area and then south 7 leagues. This is quite a journey and we will not be surprised if your traveler has to stop for the night at another of our outpost along the way.
As for the timing of the bounty, it will take several turns and substantial resources to prepare but I think we should be able to do them on seasons 8 and 9 and should either of those fail we will continue every turn until you get the 2 spells agreed upon. Of course once you get the village in our area you should see that quickly grow as well.
We hope that your services for hire might be available at some future time should we need them? Everything for a price, of course.
I will need an intermediary village to jump to. I will not hold it against you and am willing to provide the location of another of mine, if it makes you feel more comfortable.
If not i will have the tedious task of reconning for pops. Yes services are available, thought the boys are fine tuning their craft at the moment.
Trades available as well!
That goes for everyone, have a great few seasons, lets get those agents training everyone! (maniacally counting my riches) The closest hovel we have in your direction may be found 10 west and 4 south of my town of Bright Sand. Hopefully you have something within a days travel of there. If not you would have to speak to our other neighbor in Mythgar for an alternate route.

Your decisions to date are rather unfortunate. You would be wise to change course.

He was touring with David Holt, another really talented guy who is still around.

Hello again Jack (the knife). Our wizzy guy is in your area studying really hard, trying to figure out how to get food from a rock. He is supposed to cast some sort of spell for you next turn and the turn following. If you want to make the most of it be raising food on your hamlets. Some times the wizzy guy gets confused and cast an illusion instead of a spell but he has orders to give you 2 spells before he can come home for a vacation.
Your friendly neighbor,
Ike the illusionist

We have been preparing for it, thanks! I am in your village this turn, and will be turning it next. Tell him to lick the stones, that works best.
