Game 5434 Ballz of Steel
#1
48 Hour Turns, Standard Steel Victory Conditions, Trade Communications Allowed On Late Season Turns Only, Trash Talk Allowed Anytime.

We never discussed allies or NAPS.
Live your life so that the fear of death can never enter your heart, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes, they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way.

Sing Your Death Song And Die Like A Warrior Going Home.

Did we ALL miss the talking turn?  I was think this would be the talking turn but it's early and I think we agreed upon the late turn.
Maybe it's all just another illusion?

I think we did miss it, I did mean to say something but it must not have been that important.  I seem to remember the rules being forum diplomacy on late turns.  Which I think means that no Allies or NAPs implied or otherwise can last longer than 3 turns.

IL - Well I meant to communicate but missed the chance.   At least we are all in the same boat.
Ballz of Steel?  Where does Strillian get these names?  The last one,  Men of Steel,  was a group of male strippers from New Zealand.  Someone seems to have a fixation, just sayin... Big Grin

It takes a will of steel to survive in the Maze.

1) Wookie, how do you know stripper troupe names?
2) I hear it as a Duke Nukem reference, personally.

Where I heard about the  Men of Steel is an interesting story.
I went to a show to see Beppe Gambetta.  He is an outstanding Italian guitar player.  He plays the folk circuit and festivals like Merlefest and Kerrville and he flatpicks in the style of Doc Watson.
He told a story of when he toured with a group made up of himself, Dan Crary, Tony Manus, and Don Ross.  They all play acoustic instruments with steel strings so they called themselves The Men of Steel.
The tour was going well until they hit New Zealand.  The first show they did the front row was full of scantily clad women who proceeded to throw undergarments on stage.  It was then that the guys discovered that New Zealand has a very popular male stripper group by the same name.
Beppe tells the story with his very srtong Italian accent and ends it with, " eeze hard to compeeet when you only have a little peeek (pick)." And he holds up his guitar pick.

Now aren't you glad you asked?

He's off the floor, and delivers the KOA.   Good one.
