Sadly, I have not located your village yet so I'll have to post locations in the open. I have located enough in Darkover for control on turn 4 if we add your village and you tax it on turn 3 as I am willing to do with the town. Could you commit to a time on your spell? I think by turn 10 inclusive is fair and if you have a failed spell just show proof and keep trying.
If you concur I'll send the 3 locations in my reply. SO-UN: Are the villages on row B? UN - SO Is this a game of go fish? I'm offering location of 2 villages and my town and I'll tax the town on turn 3 if you just tell me where your vill is so I can take it on turn 4.
UN -SO I was a bit slow on what you are trying to do. You would understand if you had to deal with some of my boys. Billy and Johnny are a full time job.
From the vill you see in row B just go north west 1 for the town and south east 1 for the other vill. If you send your location from that B village I can change my search for this turn and we are good. SO-UN thanks but go ahead and tell me the town location if you don't mind. There is more than one village on row b.

Please tax your town in Krynn on turn 3 as a show of good will toward the Amazon Monarchy. Your magnanimity will be greatly appreciated.
On an unrelated matter, I am willing to provide you the location of two artifacts (location to be referenced from the location of your relinquished town in Krynn) in exchange for EITHER two castings of Hidden Ore at the city in my region or your starting town in my region OR a single casting of Bounty in Krynn. If you are interested in this trade, we can consummate this arrangement on a turn convenient to you.
Incidentally, I do not begin with any pop centers in your region.
Anticipating mutual good will between our two kingdoms. . . SO- AM: Well met she-warrior. I’ll take the two artifact location for the town deal. Tax on turn 3? I think you’ll run into the town soon so let’s check on that next turn.
AM - SO
To be clear: You will also provide "EITHER two castings of Hidden Ore at the city in my region or your starting town in my region OR a single casting of Bounty in Krynn."
AM - SO
I did not run across your town on turn 1. Nevertheless, please confirm you will tax on turn 3 AND cast EITHER one Bounty spell OR two Hidden Ore spells in exchange for the location of two artifacts. SO-AM: I ran into a village in Krynn on row G on my way out. Do you want the town location? If you put two artifact locations on the forum it will do me no good since they will be gone before I can take them. So, I am unsure what you are offering me. You take my town. I get a race to artifacts I may get and I have to give you spells as well? That's a bad deal. SO-AM: My town in Krynn is at KB. I can tax it next turn. I'll take 20,000 gold in exchange for the town which is the going rate. I'm flexible on when you can pay. How does that sound?

We have the location of an artifact of the fine nature in your region. We offer you the location, and the money you get with it, if you will sell it to us for 10K gold. Of course you are busy with other things so lets say by turn 10 if that works for you?
Billy da Blade, talking fo da Boss.
UN - DU
Same deal as above for a fine artifact in your region.

Well it looks like youzze guys were too busy to answer or maybe Billy was hard to unerstan. He's like that. The offers is still on da table if ya want the location of the prizes and will sell em back to us. If not, no big deal. Four finger Fred is always up for a road trip if ya no what we mean?
Johhnie - Billy's udder broder
DU - UN: We appreciate the offer, but our scouts will cover the entire region in a couple turns and find all locations. After retrieving it, we may be open to offers depending on our find.

I never asked for the coordinates of your town to be posted. I revealed its location on my own this turn -- I cover many hexes in the plains. I would then have told you the coordinates relative to your town (which nobody would know the location of except you and I). As an example: "5 hexes north and 15 hexes east."
Also, to be clear, I was never offering you the US locations for your town. I simply expected you to tax it to avoid early conflict.
I offered you the US locations for the casting of beneficial spells.
Now . . . since you posted the town location I have no means of providing you artifact locations secretly. And I do not intend to pay 20k for a town that I can simply take. I asked you to tax it on turn 3 as a gesture of goodwill between our kingdoms. I continue to request this action . . .
If I end up in open conflict with the SO kingdom I definitely prefer it earlier rather than later.
I apologize if my message was unclear. Still, the going rate for taxing a town on turn 3 is peace and goodwill. Buying early peace with the Amazons seems like a steal for the price of a single strategically unimportant town?

We have a village off the coast of Krynn. We would like to work out an equitable exchange - perhaps we might offer a seaside retreat in Zamora once our envoys have explored the lands here? If no such arrangement can be made, we would like to move our emissaries safely to their homes in the south, and can certainly provide such aid to your own folk that may need to travel great distances.
EL > DU
Great druid, word has reached us of a settlement from the first age that has been preserved as if out of time. This town can be found in the midst of Mythgar, and we wish to work with you to ensure a peaceful accommodation or exchange that would be mutually beneficial. We can provide the location to this town. As a show of goodwill: our scouts report that there are no settlements to be found in YM or XN.
EL > SO
Our wizards report the discovery of a superior artifact among your lands. We would like to work out an exchange, such that a patrol might teleport there (next turn) and return it to our lords; or we share the knowledge in exchange for future trade or services. Our divinations indicate this artifact would not be of interest to Wizards (it is not a Wizard item).
DU > EL
Elf King, thank you for reaching out and sharing your knowledge with us. Our scouts have located your settlement and it is indeed magnificent. We would propose you stay in the town for 3 more moon cycles and then release the town to us (tax it on turn 4). We hope this is an acceptable agreement and wish to keep relations open and friendly with your kingdom. Please propose alternatives if this is not to your liking.
EL > DU
Lord of the Woods, your proposition is fair and accepted. We shall release the town to your folk in the coming season (turn 4), once our people have prepared for the way home. Thank you for your warm manner; we share your interests in an open and friendly relations.
(OOC, I've never taxed a town before. I see on the forums that this is a popular early-game move. I'll try it out in this case - looking forward to learning!)

We would be happy to allow you to keep your village in the sea (a valuable location) off Krynn's coast in exchange for our keeping the town we begin with in your region.

I am glad to report that our people have shared drink and song with your sisters that dwell in our lands. I hear tales of incredible feats of archery, agility, and wisdom, and hope this cultural exchange heralds the beginning of an age of wonder among both of our people.
Rest assured that the banners visiting your town arrived there by happenstance, and have no intention to spoil the peaceful competition among our champions
(OOC: Regarding your proposition: it seems fair though it is hard for me to judge that, as I don't have a sense of relative value between your town in my region and my village at sea in yours. I seek your counsel - would you accept our proposal in my shoes? Exchanging our settlements through mutually agreed upon capture post-taxation is a decent alternative, since it allows us to accomplish the highest level of control of our region. What are your thoughts?)

Our wizards report the discovery of a superior artifact among your lands. We would like to work out an exchange, for we don't wish to create unintended hostility among our folk by stealing from your ruins.
We have heroes ready to teleport there and recover the lost artifact and will do so this turn should you give us your blessing. Should this be agreeable, we would share any gold or jewels discovered during our expedition, as well as additional offerings such as a future Bounty spell, fair exchange of food, and so forth.
Please let us know your thoughts. It would be difficult to convey this location discreetly, as we have no holdings among your land, and wish only to pursue a mutually beneficial and agreeable path.
(OOC: We started with knowledge of this artifact. It doesn't appear to have anything to do with Wizardry, based on the name. In fact, our interest stems from the name being an Elvish term that references something of interest to our culture (and me, as a LoTR fan!).

I would accept the exchange if our roles were reversed. And I am willing also to mutually exchange the popcenters after we control our respective regions. So, in short, all is good with the Amazons. Just tell us what you desire and when.
