To my neighbor in Darkover Did I offend you in some way?

well I kinda panicked when I saw your group in darkover 3 hexes into darkover masked on my pop center T5. I assumed you were attacking me with a fast moving team like the CI. then you went to my artifact location to take it out of darkover.(and now you are still in my area on a quest guardian site, also conveinent excuse for scouting my pop centers for a later attack) last thing I wanted was a fight this early with you but last time I had darkover a CI team attacked me turn 6 and wiped me out so I am kinda paranoid about the CI early in the game in my area. best way to avoid an issue is to not be poking around so early in my area. I took all my troops and group out of your area asap. seeing you there pretty much sent me in to defensive mode right away. I wanted to post message and ask you but not allowed until this turn. also not allowed a NAP either so no idea where to go from here. but for now take your group our of darkover and I wont attack. you already got two artifacts from my area Id say we are even right now. get your group out now please and stop stealing my artifacts. not sure how you got 3 artifacts and now your 4th by this turn but that is enough in my area.

UN your in my area too poking around gees guys stay out. Im not in your area at all nor have I looked even. some claim you are one of the best go pick on a experienced guy not a new guy.

I entered to chase the Axe I start with the location of and ran into the quest early on. The key was in the crown islands (I think). I would have reached out last turn but had to wait for the last turn of the season. I'm playing the Gnome in another game and liked it until I got jumped by the Demon Prince. I find it hard to tell who is coming after you until it is too late. PM me if you want to trade ideas.

For the record, I'm not looking for fights but I have never subscribed to the notion that artifacts in a region 'belong' to the the player who controls that region. I do not consider it an act of war to 'poach' for artifacts in my areas or in the areas next to me. But not to worry, the UN has no plans to attack anybody anytime soon.
Also, let me add that I usually don't pay attention to who is controlling the kingdoms next to me as I find it affects my game but I do tend to avoid attacking new players unless I am attacked by them first, so your status has been noted.
