Guests .... guests???  I don't think we have had guests in ages.  We do like to party and see no need to make it a private party.  For the biggest, and bestest, party ever come join us for the Gnome-Bake at the Demon Prince palace located at LY.  It is invisible ... but trust me it is there.  Just keep walking until you bump into the Legendary gates.  We have spent the last 15 turns buffing up the walls preparing for guests so we do hope that you will find it to your liking.

We have sent the carcass of your dead spy back to you via boat, horseback, and raven.  Perhaps you can reassemble his body for a proper funeral as per your custom.

There are three pools actually  - hot pool, cool pool, and a plunge pool.  Plus I have the hot tub in my personal chambers but I am sure you heard all about it from your better half.  Yes it does have a fountain, yes it can foam bubbles, and yes it can pulsate in different colors in time with music.  Its quite special albeit well used.

The good news is that the PI still lives despite the best efforts of the AM and then the LI. The bad news is that we are still the lowest seated kingdom in the realm, once again.

PI - LI
What is the point? I have never attacked you except to retake things you took, but you spend all of this energy and resource to keep attacking the last-place kingdom, maybe just to ensure I stay in last? Seems odd, but have fun with taking a Krynn village. I don't and have never owned the region, so continuing to exchange random villages is just a waste of both of our resources while other kingdoms continue to thrive.
Ok enough whining by the PI, but I am truly confused on the strategy here.

Nice job running the whole darned world. Everywhere I look, I see GN cities with nice mansions and yards and pools and printing machines and slaves. It truly defines what everyone knows about the Gnomes being the 1%ers, the Haves, the ruling class, the elite and perhaps even the envied. Some day, the people will rise and shout. I mean shouting is pretty all they can do.

Well, we have honored our agreements to each other and you have kept your town (well, kept it, lost it, retook it and then kept it). Fortunately, nobody ever took that brave village of mine in Darkover. It stands proud.

Even though we have never met or spoken or broken bread together, you have been a true ally, harassing the mean and vindictive LI wherever you can. Peace to you, brother.

I only speak passable swashbuckle, but I was able to hear the envy in your tone... which is as it should be. As a point of clarity, however, it is important to note that we don't keep slaves. Those are the prior inhabitants. They were so pleased with what we did to the various places that they have offered to stay, without pay. We let them use the hot tub for no charge. 

I appreciate your appreciation, as well as your willingness to let the status quo be in Krynn.
