The problem with these rules is how open our communications must be. I propose we train herds of messenger rats that we can use to send messsages back and forth and avoid prying eyes.

Failing the approval of the powers that be, even though nothing prohibits rat communciation, we might have to work with bounties rather than specific targets. You issue bounties and I get paid when I deliver the... pelts.

   Unfortunately, the rate of 2:1.1 is for the 2nd consecutive month of trading.  The exception to that is if I am given a village in your region to balance out my production, at which point your default becomes 2:1.1 followed by 2:1.2 and 2:1.3.  I'm happy to entertain a village of your choosing in Pellinor?  Ohh, with your bounty spells, we might be able to up your percentage even more. Ohhh, i like that.   We also like the water.   There's going to be a whole write up of what I was experimenting with after this game; complete with diagrams, charts, bards, wenches, and ale...

I feel like I have to keep my hand on my wallet when I am talking to you, my furry footed friend.  The escalation thing is interesting but doesn't work to well when orders are a priority (I like to lock multi turn trades in and then set a standing order).  Lets do the standard 2:1 this time.  Please confirm.  We will see if a trade is possible next turn....sometimes even Druids go hungry in the winter.
