Oh, I hate to have to vote. On my own, I would be quite happy with the 24hrs but I also hate the thought of anybody dropping because of it. I guess I'll vote yes to keep going, but if we really are going to lose a couple of players over it, I'll switch to restart because early drops will totally screw the game.

I vote yes- restart. Way back in the day, we had a room draft at my fraternity, where anyone in front could restart the entire draft (from his position) twice (I suppose if someone he didn't like chose a slot in that room).

It went well, usually, until people got too drunk, which I suppose was the point.

Ironically I am off to a good start and the odds are it will be worse with a restart. Since I was the one to start this rolling and Rick has been kind enough to offer a restart I would be a hypocrite to vote against it.

Absolutely no hard feelings for anyone that wants to keep this 24 hours and of course I will not drop. I hit ready early this morning.

There is a lesson here. The turnaround time is a crucial part of any game that needs to be decided very early in the signup phase. You can fudge a few other things like communication levels but decide the game turnaround right out of the gate.

I'm also quite happy with my setup but after reading all the pros and cons, especially Pine's in depth dissertation on the many complexities of the topic I have to think .. screw it. Restart.

Also, with Dakaria abstaining I think I am the 6th and deciding vote.

I like 24 hours but understand that is difficult for some player's schedules so I vote restart.
