IL-ALL

Its interesting to see how much has changed and how much remains the same since I last played Alamaze decades ago. Computer order checking vs the old mail the turn and pray is the biggest plus for sure.

I am liking things quite a bit, so expect to see me in future games as well.

This game I had planned to just sit in my region and experiment with things, learn how the game plays now and not really get too involved in how the tide of the game goes. That said, I find that the sword coast is attracting visitors... and it is possible to prod me into changing my stance. ; )

Welcome back. We are always happy to see returning players. Going on turn 22 and you are just seeing visitors. That is actually pretty good. Many times magic kingdoms are invaded in the first 10 to 15 turns. Good Luck!

FT-RD: Greetings. I note your interest in our little trading outpost. We'd respectfully urge you to leave that little thing alone. While we get that everybody seems to insist on 'tight control' these days, we would suggest it's not worth it in this case as it will just open up another front and you seem to have enough to keep you busy already. We're not looking for any other territory in the area, we just seek to trade. Please let us know if you will agree to leave our outpost alone as otherwise we have a few sanctions we'll have to impose and we'd rather not as they are not good for business!

No, now that I see you moving elsewhere, I am a lot less concerned than I was a turn or two ago. We are taking a defensive posture and have no plans to move anywhere.

RD-Ft - I'll think about it.

It would be helpful if you could let me know before the turn runs. I have made some orders that are not entirely defensive in nature and I would just as soon swap them out for something more productive. And I have no desire to hinder you if it’s not necessary.
