Demon Princes and the Influencing of Population Centers
#1
QUESTION: If I want to use the Demon Princes to take a Major City (Ramhorn), and I have Minor regional influence, but my reaction level is friendly, and the Major City is controlled by Humans, can I successfully rebel population center with one Demon Prince, while also usurping the population center with another Demon Prince? Or will I also need to have the third Demon Prince to sit unrest on that same turn? Or will even that be sufficient?

I have consulted a couple of different players on this question, but I crave more certainty, which is why I am submitting this particular question for a wider sub-set of feedback.

Depends on your King's Influence amount. Do you have a 12 influence or 25?

Here's a picture of the brand-new online player aid that I'm currently developing (to replace the Excel spreadsheet that's using 3rd Cycle stats). Says, you're good if you have a high enough of influence.

more to come...

No need to Stir Unrest. Just use one to rebel and the other to usurp. You'll be fine. In the future though, be careful of any intrinsic status quo effects from buildings (forum, granary, temple, great temple) and fortifications (all). Which is another reason why players need an updated 4th Cycle player aid to estimate their success...

Thank you so much, Mister Mike!

I'm sure that the forthcoming updated 4th Cycle player aid will be warmly received.

Good stuff Charles.  I had already told you 2 princes was enough so I'm glad Mike agreed.  Is that the calculator you sent me before?  I was not allowed to open the link.

Yes, you did tell me, Dan. I've lost characters before, so I wanted to be extra, extra certain.

That new calculator is one that unclemike is creating. It's just a screenshot, not a link.
