Not a fan of the red Santa.

He keeps pulling my eyes to the left, when I try to read the forum threads.

If he's gonna be left right there where he is, I suggest changing his color to a medium gray color. That way, he remains visible, you don't have to move him, but your eyes don't have to fight his color so much.

I agree and have been feeling the same way about the yellow background on the contact support tab.  I am distracted by it.
We all know that John/Brekk is doing things to improve Alamaze and appreciates feedback, both good and bad.
Not every attempt is a home run the first time out but that's how we keep moving forward, by trying new things.

Just change the color. Or if you only want it to display on the main forum indexed page, add it to the index.php file, or to the index template.
