Can we get the list of players who ended up dropping? Curious who the other players were in this game.

Great win, Zolzar. I was the FT and built the best of everything only to have you take it all. Very well played.

I want the story of the Lycans! I think the Pirate, or someone, attacked you early, but you fought them off and turned to Triumvia where we clashed.

FT is an amazing economic kingdom. Unlimited fleets do diminish the ability to defend a super built up capital like I had (400k+ food). I will play the FT again with some learned lessons.

This was my first 24 hour Anon game; I had no idea how things should have gone and how you needed to interact with your neighbours. Early on, my intention was to grow in my region and then go challenge one of the military nations since our armies would have had some fantastic battles. Right away I observed the Sacred Order lay into the Ancient Ones; I had a town in the Sword Coast taken by the Ancient Ones that I intended to get back, but thought it might be better to have a tougher army before venturing down there. And with the Cimmerians on a roll through Darkover I thought I'd be fighting someone sooner than later.

By Turn 8 I had my region under Tight control and wanted to get some experience for my army, so I went over to Triumvia to attack the major city and gain some experience (and hopefully some Lycans). I didn't intend to stay, just pop in, grab some pop centres and leave. I couldn't tell the Pirates that though, so they appeared to assume it was an invasion and they countered with a number of emissaries to Zanthia. I briefly lost control of the region Turn 10 (and didn't get my ESO for a couple rounds because of it); but got control back the following round along with quickly rounding up his Duchess and two Counts (both Counts joined me after contracting lycanthrope, along with a level 4 agent of his). By Turn 14 the Pirate dropped, but I still hadn't found his capital and wouldn't until a couple rounds later when one of my agents failed to return home from a recon mission.

I thought I'd be able to mop up Triumvia and gain an additional region and a significant production base, but discovered that the Free Trader had started to secure some pop centres in the east, so I proceeded to go to war with him. We fought in Pellinor and Stormgate, and when I secured Stormgate I proceeded to start building my fleet. Then the Free Trader appeared with an army on my capital, which forced me to withdraw my second army back home which ultimately drove him away. By Turn 22 I'd strengthened my capital enough to withstand assault, so moved my armies back to prosecute the war against the Free Traders. I was determined now to defeat the Free Trader, spurred on by recent intelligence that showed me his capital producing 179K food (this was a Turn 18 spy report), and also housing a Plow of the Prophet.

In preparation and thanks to the Stone of All Minds I empowered a number of wizards, including a Power 8 wizard to transport my large main army. As I started to move into position at Stormgate, and was forced out of Pellinor because of the poor regional reaction affecting my armies' morale, I was invaded by the Atlanteans (who I thought was too busy with the Cimmerians to come calling). But as they invaded Triumvia and were steps away from my capital, I teleported my main army home to defend against them, catching them outside Imril on Turn 27 and with my high priestess, also finding the Free Trader armies forming upon my border. This was the real turning point in the war with the Free Traders, as I eliminated the Atlantean group and intercepted the 4th Free Traders, which was their largest group and contained a wealth of artifacts. My 1st Lycans won the day, wading through a Wall of Flame and Stunning the FT Warlord which made their group susceptible to Chaos. We eliminated the group on Turn 29 and won a number of significant weapon artifacts as well as the Gem of Planes.

Turn 30 saw my groups all teleport to Stormgate and then the following turn we were able to move onto the Free Trader capital. We were attacked in the water by a number of fleets, but it appeared that my fleets were of a better quality, though smaller in numbers. The battle eliminated a number of ships on each side, but none of my troops were lost. We assembled outside his capital, where we were closely matched with the defensive value of the Legendary Castle. We managed to defeat his remaining armies stationed outside it and capture the town, securing a slightly reduced production centre, only producing 322,430 food for us per turn.

By Turn 34 we captured enough of Pellinor to secure control and I looked to finishing up the game. I expected to win on Status Point, but thought I might as well push for a Rex victory, so spied out the Sacred Order in Krynn, teleported my armies there and secured the win on Turn 38.
