I didn't see anyone post the results of these games, so I thought I'd toot my own horn and do so:

As the Free Traders, I grabbed the fifth region on turn 40. It was very close, as the TY and IL nearly spoiled things by moving to Stormgate and Triumvia City on the final turn. For Stormgate I put three dome-capable wizards at MQ in anticipation of the IL visiting and triple-domed the city. The TY, however, spanked my little invisible army at his city. Thankfully I grabbed juuuuust enough of Triumva for control without the city - 61.37% according to my spreadsheet.
I don't know what the IL had—I am guessing all the artifacts and a collection of buildings. Besides Stormgate, the only interaction we had was me running from his supergroup.
A highlight for me this game was removing all the Demon Princes (the figures) from play. I assassinated one and, at one point, had the other three as prisoners (one escaped and remained free). I spent easily a dozen turns losing ground to the DE before I developed a strategy to kidnap his princes, which isn't easy as they don't make noise moving and can't be slept. Overall I had a lot of success with agents. I worked with two Crystals of Seeing (via mithril) from early on, and they enabled much of my agent success.
Militarily, I got beat up this game. The TY on the last turn. The DE claimed several big wins—the IL in our one run-in. I did have one remarkable victory where my invisible army caught a TY group; I was surprised by how well that battle went! Overall, wizards 100% propped up my groups, with the troops running very ragged by the game's end.

This one was interesting, as I started in Pellinor and was surrounded by military power—RD, GI, TY, and LY.
I grabbed Stormgate and Pellinor immediately and then settled down to await the attack. Surprisingly, it never came.
I started to scout the south using a DE prince with a Knowledge Totem hung around his neck. The GI spotted me blinking through his capital and reacted with harsh language but didn't attack. It developed over several turns that the GI and FT began fighting, and then the RD attacked the GI from the east.
It appeared to be an excellent time to join the fray!
All in all, the next set of turns was pretty straightforward. Untamed was mostly empty, and I took it quickly enough. I had one powerful group that I used to bounce around the RD's capital. The GI surrendered before I got into Mythgar, and I was able to take over the RD's holdings quickly. The RD did attempt to take back places with his groups, but with my demons, I was able to gate in under his groups and immediately retake places. (I also had an Onyx Amulet, giving me five princes who could gate.)
The situation developed where I believed I could hold off the RD's groups with domes long enough for a quick blitz into Nyvaria. Using the Crystal of Seeing I saw the region and city were empty and ripe for the taking. One massive emissary blitz was enough to flip the region directly to the side of the demons and win the game.
Near the end of the game I spotted a truly impressive DW group at the FT capital - on the water. That looked to be quite the feat!
Both games were fun and challenging and very different from one another. Thanks to all involved!

Buddy/Ignore List

Trying out the Halflings, I started i Zanthia, and quite in the beginning I had a good opportunity (I thought...) to take a TY (Triumvia) town and go on the attack. Well, that didn't mature well and I found myself overrun by the TY. Soon also the UN of Krynn started attacking me from the west. I just hang in there with mostly the 2 hidden halfling villages the rest of the game, trying to be a thorn in the skin of the UN and TY. Did get some small momentum back and had some clashes with the UN mostly. In the last couple of turns I also tried to keep the FT from winning by usurping some PC
in Triumvia, but I really didn't have enough 'firepower' to be successful in that endevor. Stuck in until the very end, trying to get the hang of the game again...
