When attacking a population center with two or more groups on the same turn, is the attack value of the multiple groups combined? Thanks!

That's a good question. The answer is no, each attack is a separate event. It would be a interesting feature if one could do that!
You can transfer troops from one to the other to boost the value of one group.

Hmmm, then what is the strategy for a dragon kingdom that is limited to recruiting just Wyverns and Giant Bats -- and limited how many of these units they can have in a group -- to build a big enough group to take out a well fortified city?

It is actually easier for wizard kingdoms to take out a Legendary Castle than it is for a kingdom like the Red Dragons or Giants. Maybe the Red can put together one group that could do it, but wizard kingdoms have 4 groups sometimes that can do it. Hopefully, something that is being looked at.

This is an issue for the dragons. I'd like to see thier recruitment limits increased across the board, including Phoenixes.
Barring that you can look at: Improving leaders Ranking brigades up to elite Forging improved armor and weapons Collecting artifacts Raising wizards However, at the end of the day, the dragons msy simply not be able to take a legendary pop center.

I have seen it done on turn 30+ But it takes lots of time to build up that one group. I doubt if blacks can tho. Do not under any circumstances lose a red brigade.Earning the major eso rewards two red brigades Selecting certain regions yields one I think (i like untamed lands as you get a phoenix for free from the get-go) There are alot of factors that aid: Three warlords add 25% each Equip weapons adds 25% Reds are naturally plus 20% versus pops cuz they fly Auto fear of 10% plus a power five wizard fear spell reduces pop defense in total 35% Regeneration from phoenix is awesome Morale of 160 amax adds-60% to the group Power five wizard valor adds 25% Elite brigades add 35% now I think. So a legendary castle of 200,000 defense is reduced by fear to 130,000 to begin in most cases 15 elite red brigades on turn 30+ worth 80,000 points 1 elite phoenix worth 3,000 5 elite wyverns worth 11,000 10 elite bats worth 20,000 Yields a group base rate of 114,000 Factor in the bonuses Warlords 87k Equip wpns 29k Pop bonus 22k Morale 67k Valor 11k Yields group rating of 320k vs pop defense of 130k Plus you can have one extra wiz cast an earthquake, and i forgot the small presences spells rewared at power three so another 13k in offense. I have done it, but you have to play an aggressive game to get those leaders emerging and morale pumping. Note, no artifacts have been included. A few of them offset the fact that it is nearly impossible to obtain the troops listed above Take the standard of valor with customization adds 10% Grab another one or two from the wild or, more fun, by destroying an enemy group and add that in….

It's probably obvious... ![]() 2. Is there a key to decipher the icons under a unit's "Decorations"? Thanks!
