Game 5969
#1
Greetings all!

A new game just dropped, and it is a full diplomacy game!

As the Underworld, I am all about that! Please reach out for all your needs for dirty deeds! (Hmm...that sounded better before I typed it out.)

To the mighty Red Dragon, it seems I cannot reply to your message directly. I will respond here:

Your flame casts a long shadow; I am pleased it has reached the shadowy halls of the Underworld. You speak with the confidence of one who can burn cities, yet chooses not to. An art I can appreciate.

Zanthia is yours. The blades of the Underworld will not cross its borders, nor will our whispers stir unrest within its bounds. We recognize the wisdom of aligning with power rather than opposing it.

In return, I trust that your ambitions lie not in the caverns beneath, nor among those who move unseen. There is much we might accomplish together, should our interests align. After all, even fire benefits from a guiding wind...

Let us keep our lines open. There are always opportunities for those who prefer precision over chaos.

To the So-Called Sovereign of Flame, the Red Dragon,

You dare defile our lands with your shadow, clawing at our villages like a spoiled serpent drunk on its own legend. You mistake our silence for fear, our patience for weakness, but know this, great lizard, your time in the sky is coming to an end.

The Nomads do not fear your wings or your fires. We do not bend to tyrants, nor kneel to beasts with delusions of divinity. We are not the soft kingdoms you’ve feasted upon. We are the storm beneath the sands, the fury of the wild wind, and when we ride, the world burns behind us.

Withdraw from our lands. Stop the theft of our villages, the insult to our people, or we will rise from every dune, every canyon, every forgotten trail. You will see a thousand banners fluttering in the sun and a thousand thousand arrows blackening your skies. When you try to take flight, wounded and bloated, our archers will shoot your weakened carcass from the heavens. You will plummet like a cursed star, crashing into your own hoards, and we will come then, riding fire and steel, to finish what you started.

Zanthia, though a land of proud peaks and deep mountains, will be swallowed by our march. We will carve a path through stone and smoke. Not even your hidden caverns will save you. We will put your people to the torch, your lairs to ruin, and your name to extinction. You will not die gloriously, Red One, you will wither, starve, and be forgotten.

This is no bluff, no plea, but a promise from the Lord of the Nomads.

Your fire fades, ours rises.

Leader of dust and delusions,

You speak of storms and fury, yet your words are little more than a desert breeze. Your kingdom is a fleeting dream in the minds of a few nomads who have yet to rule anything of note. You mistake the vast, empty expanse of land around you for strength, yet you are not even as the recognized leader. What little you do possess isn't territory, but the makings of your demise.

The village you coveted was already under my protection, its tribute a small price for the security I provided. By trying to claim it, you aren't taking new lands; you are antagonizing a foe of flame and death. You will learn that taking food out of a dragon's mouth is an unwise action that demands retribution.

Your threats of a thousand banners and a thousand thousand arrows are not a declaration of war; they're an offer of kindling for my fires upon which your horses will be roasted. Your "endless ride" will be short-lived, a footnote in a history you won't survive to write.
