Finally, the Fairies rule the world!

They've taken some abuse on the boards.  Some people just don't like them.  I get it.  But I can tell you, contrary to everything you've heard, the Fairies don't suck!  You don't have to just bend over if someone wants to invade your regions.  And if you work your position right, you can come out on top!

So I invite all of you, next time you want to play, Try being the Fairy!  I think some of you might like it.

Congrats it was a fun game for me. Most of the game was spent fighting the death knight and I really think his survival came down to a crucial turn when he had 1 more dome then I had dispel available for his capital. After that the illusionist struck. I was so absorbed in my part of the world i didnt see how well you were doing until it was over. What was your secret?? Ignore flying and be a magic power?? We all know you like to brag and I would love to hear the "how to" brag on this one. Seriously though congrats on a very big accomplishment.

You wound me, Sir.  I am but a humble lord who merely says it as I see it.  Now let me tell you 'bout this victory I had!

From Nyvaria I originally intended to use the FF's flight to invade the DA in Pellinor.  The water between us was more of a barrier to him than to me and there were a lot of pops in that water unfortified and easy pickings for my Fairy hoards.  However he was in a war with the DU in the Untamed and I felt like a jerk jumping in.  Plus the Ancient ones of Zamora were somehow involved.  I found the DU's cap pretty early and wanted that war to end so I could sweep in and grab both regions, plus Stormgate, but it became clear that conflict would go the distance.

So I looked north at the SO in the Diamond Coast. He was pounding the AL who looked on the brink and I saw no need to wait in this case.  Either the SO saw me coming or I got lucky but as I moved in he dropped.  Quite honestly this game was a cakewalk.  But to answer your question, no, I changed things around and dropped the flight angle and went with a relatively small army group of mostly summoned monsters, Ents, a Chimera and an Iron Golem.  It was more than capable of taking Legendaries with little attrition. I also had a support group for easier targets and an army of emmies.  In relatively little time I wound up with 3 regions.

Like I said, it's a good kingdom.  Maybe if I wanted to nitpick I would say that the Chimera could get buffed a bit since the Beholder and the FT's special companions got buffed but that's about it.
