Missive from Lord Telor of the Elves
To the noble rulers and sovereign lords of Alamaze,
I am Telor, Lord of the Elves, chosen to bear the mantle of stewardship for my people. We are the children of the greenwood, the singers of the silver streams, the keepers of ancient wisdom wrought long before many of your realms first raised stone upon stone. In matters of trade, in the weaving of politics, and in the conduct of war, it is my hand that shall guide the Elven folk, and my voice that speaks for them in the councils of kings.
My kin desire harmony yet we do not mistake weakness for peace. Our bows are strung with patience, but they do not waver when called upon. Our blades are sheathed in honor, but they are honed sharper than any resolve of steel. We value alliance where trust is possible, and we remember betrayal far longer than most.
To those who come with an honest hand, the Elves offer open trade, fair counsel, and the surety of friendship. To those who would disturb the sanctity of our forests or seek dominion over free peoples, we offer a swifter judgment, written not in parchment, but in the strokes of arrow and sword.
In this new Age of Alamaze, let the wise know: the Elves do not stand apart, but among you. And though our gaze is long, our will is keen.
Sealed beneath the moon and oak, by the hand of Telor, Lord of the Elves.
“In harmony, strength. In memory, resolve.”

THE NOMADS ROAM
Hear Ye, Hear Ye, for the blessed and sacred have come out of the sands to claim their rightful place. We roam, we travel, we teach, we punish as needed.
These buildings of stone are not for us, for our tents suffice.
Nervous about meeting new people but steadfast in our desire for the world to be a place of safety and commingling for all, the Nomads will set up their home in Zanthia and will be content to build and learn there. However, should any peoples encroach upon us, our steeds will bring us quickly to that peoples own havens and strike mercilessly.
We have seen the impressive missive from the learned Elves and though our thoughts and words cannot match theirs, as we are so inferior to that amazing race, we humbly will strive to bring honor and truth to all of Alamaze.
Please contact us if we can help your kingdom in any way as we all learn about this new world of Alamaze and what our places shall be.
The name of our illustrious leader must of course remain unknown as such information is power, and he merely sits among us as a leader among peers.
But you may address any inquiries or offers to our attorney at vballmichael@gmail.com or on the glorious board for world communications.

To the Nomads of Zanthia,
The desert wind sang of your great culture and traditions. My people answer with song and kinship, gladdened by your intent to dwell in peace. Let us bind friendship with shared trust, as the sands and forests together endure the test of time.

Nomads to Telor, Lord of the amazing Elves:
Let the world sing of our friendship from the west to the east and from the south to the north.
Let us dwell in peace for many, many months.

✦ Letters from Lord Telor of the Elves ✦
Crown Islands (Tyrant – Cinkasnor)
To the Tyrant of Gor,
The Elves of Zamora extend greetings across the seas. Yours is a reign of iron and fear, yet even tyranny casts a shadow that may be measured. The Elves neither bend knee nor seek quarrel where none is needed. Let there be distance if there cannot be trust, and let the waves between us serve as boundary enough.
Lord Telor, Voice of the Elves
Darkover (Giants – Tacticus)
To Tacticus, High among the Giants of Darkover,
The tremors of your steps echo across Alamaze, and the Elves honor such strength. Yet even mountains find peace in valleys, and so too may we. Let words be the stones upon which we build understanding, before arms are taken up as hammers of war.
Lord Telor, Warden of the Greenwood
Diamond Coast (Atlantians – Frostking)
To the Frostking of the Diamond Coast,
From the ocean’s deeps to the forest’s heights, mystery binds our peoples. Yours is the lore of waters, ours of leaves and stars. Perhaps between us lies a concord — the mingling of secrets for the betterment of both. Speak, and the Elves shall listen.
Lord Telor, Keeper of the Moonlit Oath
Krynn (Lycans – Milo007)
To the Lords of Krynn,
The Elves have long observed the wild hunt beneath the moon, and we know both its glory and its danger. Yours is a fierce people, and fierceness is respected. Yet let it not spill without purpose, for blood leaves stains even the forest cannot cleanse. May restraint guide your hand.
Lord Telor, Voice of the Elves
Triumvia (Deathknights – Thudargh)
To Thudargh, Sovereign of Triumvia,
Darkness reigns long in your land, where light finds little purchase. Know this: the Elves will not bow to shadow. Yet night and day are both part of the cycle, and where balance is struck, even bitter rivals may find an accord of necessity. Let there be clarity in our dealings.
Lord Telor, Warden of the Elves
Nyvaria (Amazons – Hammer)
To the Amazons of Nyvaria,
Daughters of strength and discipline, the Elves salute your courage. We are kindred in our devotion to honor, though our paths differ. May our peoples stand side by side, guardians not of conquest but of that which is worth preserving.
Lord Telor, Keeper of the Moonlit Oath
Sword Coast (Demons – Nero)
To Nero, Prince among the Demon Lords,
The Elves see the fires that rage upon your shores. Flame consumes, but flame also cautions those who would draw too near. Know that the Elves do not fear fire, yet we will not feed it with folly. Let the distance between our realms be our shield, unless you prove otherwise.
Lord Telor, Voice of the Elves
Pellinor (Dark Elves – Ziggy)
To Ziggy, Lord of Pellinor,
Kin who chose shadow, hear this: the High Elves of Zamora do not forget. Your path diverged from light long ago, and though we share blood, we do not share cause. The Elves shall watch your every step, and should shadow move against us, light shall answer.
Lord Telor, Warden of the Elves
Mythgar (Lizard Kings – Windstar)
To Windstar, Emperor of the Scaled Thrones,
The Elves recognize the strength of your empire, alien though your ways may be. Order is a language we both respect. If your people seek trade and fair accord, then the Elves shall answer in kind. Let there be understanding, not enmity.
Lord Telor, Voice of the Elves
Untamed Lands (Faerie Folk – Lord Moontree)
To Lord Moontree of the Faerie Folk,
Children of wonder, cousins beneath the same stars — the Elves greet you with joy. May your songs carry through the winds as ours do through the trees. Let us weave harmony together, for Alamaze is richer when its magic sings in chorus.

Our histories may have diverged in ancient times, but the tales of my ancestors being disdained by yours have endured to this day. I am glad that your kin have survived the years and also not surprised that your first contact with my race in many ages is a veiled threat. I highly recommend that you be satisfied with your present lot and simply let your offspring play in the waters off of Python Cove. There's no need to put your kingdom at risk by venturing North--not unless you desire to settle some old scores.
Sincerely,
King Storm Modra
Going off script here: As a noob I seriously doubt I'll have any chance to get to you even if I desired to. Good luck to you and the other players,

Question: I see that this is showing as open communications but seem to remember on the sign up page that it was going to be forum only coms. I'll gladly post an email and send messages that way, but wish to verify how we're expected to communicate.
Thanks

To King Storm Modra of Pellinor,
Our kindred paths may have diverged long ago, yet the memory of that sundering endures like a scar upon the forest. You speak of disdain, and I do not deny that the High Elves of Zamora look upon the Onyx Imperium with sorrow, for you turned from the light of the stars into caverns of shadow. That wound will not easily heal.
Yet know this, Storm Modra: though you caution me to let my offspring play in shallow coves, the Elves are not children at play. We are guardians of creation’s first songs, and our roots run deeper than any tide can wash away. Should your dark banners rise against us, the Greenwood will not tremble, but respond swiftly with war-toned arrows and spells.
Still, let us not squander this Age too swiftly in war. If boundaries are respected, words may yet hold sway where swords need not.
Lord Telor, Warden of the Elves
