Despite the efforts of the UN, LI, and FO the RD managed to squeak out a win:

1 RD Ozymandius 65,480 115,613
2 FT Wynand 67,584 104,495
3 UN CosmicWizard17 41,273 62,567
4 HA Thudargh 30,501 56,021
5 FO Windstar 27,929 45,895

This was a game where I think I controlled six different regions over the course of the game. I was close to five regions over and over, but then the FO or UN or LI would take this or that and push me back from victory.

Some highlights:

I took a legendary with the RD! The group was nearly maxxed out, ten RD kingdom brigades (8 elite) plus a full complement of Wyverns and Bats, all elite plus morale around 150 led by three warlords and supported by three p-5s. Losses were 13%. The downside was that I had to steal Reds from other groups, which limited what they could do somewhat. I was always sweating one of the smaller groups would run into a FO or UN army group.

My legendary capital repelled an UN army group! I was surprised by this. I can't recall what his group consisted of, but it appeared it had enough. He retreated with about 45% losses. That tells me his loss was due to a lower retreat threshold as I've seen the CI and RA repelled from PC attacks with losses of over 60%.

My groups were all well-developed, but my emissaries and agents suffered greatly. I was down to three emissaries above governor and only two agents of level 10 or higher. I was starting to lose ground to the combined attacks and likely wouldn't have finished first in points if the game went on much longer.

Overall, it was a fun game, though the RD is quite one-dimensional. I came into the game hoping to take advantage of his nine-square emissary range, but the reality was that many of my orders each turn were centered around the military.

Grats Ozy!
Our early peace ended up costing me in the end as it didn't leave me with a lot of expansion options, especially after the UN jumped in against you!
Grats to Thudargh for a dogged performance as the HA...I thought several times you'd throw in the towel but you kept coming back for more! Well-played!
