My name is Dave Davenport, I am 42 years old, and I live in Spring Hill, FL. I am married to Kim and have a 6 1/2 year old named Bethany. I am a manager for Hewlett Packard. We have a cabin in Blue Ridge, GA, and we spend most of my summers and vacations there.

I started playing Alamaze with RSI back in the early 90's, but graduated to Pegasus when I discovered Second Cycle. I was never very good at it, but I very enthusiastic. I took a break, but started with Fall of Rome when I discovered the original idea for Kingdoms of Arcania; for what it's worth, I still want to see the game as envisioned back in the day when it was a digital upgrade to Alamaze. Maybe we'll see that map one day!

I have played in many, many, FoR games, often successfully. I help out as a Game Administrator and I will likely step up and help more in the Forums as well.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

Blue Ridge! Small world. I live in Blairsville, GA, just east of there.

I think my Alamaze days may pre-date yours a bit...maybe. the years blur at a distance.

Sweet. Maybe we'll run into one another some day.
