The BL is the enemy of the RD.

Problem is that the GN is the enemy of the DW as well and since the RD can either go after his ally or the Dwarves one is a logical choice.
The RD can go on other adventures but Region 3 is ideal for him.

In view of the Titan game Will and Ghan are lining up, one idea would be to get team captains, then do a kingdom selection process for who gets what. Players could name their team to give it the flavor of the kingdoms they end up with.

Kalrex,

The point I was trying to make was the RD GN SO have no enemies with the DE DA TR making them the evil 6.

See what I am trying to say with the 6 vs 6?

I think the issue about RD/GN/SO as neutrals is that geography virtually dictates they go after the goods. RD is in Talking Mountains and Runnimede, which he shares with his ally the GN. Given the RD's regional reaction levels and terrain necessities, 9 times out of 10, he's going to go after the DW (unless he wants to attack his ally, the GN).

As to the GN (starting in Runnimede and Torvale)...9 times out of ten he'll grab regional control in Runnimede and move north into Torvale (AN territory). Finally, the SO is usually embroiled with the RA in SYN, right off the bat.

It's not really an issue of having "enemies" but what makes the most strategic/economic sense for those nations...and with the current set-up, logic dictates they jump the DW/RA/AN, effectively making the game 9 versus 6.

In The Revenge of Geography, Kaplan builds on the insights, discoveries, and theories of great geographers and geopolitical thinkers of the near and distant past to look back at critical pivots in history and then to look forward at the evolving global scene. Kaplan traces the history of the world’s hot spots by examining their climates, topographies, and proximities to other embattled lands.
