Titan Game?
#51

For example, wfrankenhoff would choose first and select any kingdom he wanted without restriction for neutral, good or evil. Then I would select two kingdoms. We then alternate selections until we both control six kingdoms.

I suggest we set it up with no SVC and no alliance victories. Essentially, we would both play until turn 40 arrived or one of us conceded... (Better yet, all that is required is a gentleman's agreement that neither of us would enter a victory check order.)

It seems to me that we simply set the parameters for a normal individual game and assign us the six kingdoms we each select and leave the remaining three kingdoms with their starting positions, but no player to control them.

I would definitely be interested in such a contest with wfrankenhoff - if he is interested.

What say you Will? And what say the powers that be? Ry Vor? Cipher?

Forgot to reply to this: Absolutely agree to all terms. We play until turn 40 or until one of us concedes. FYI: I've never done an alliance or victory check in any game I've played Smile

That looks very interesting.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

Setups and turn 0s will go out this weekend. I think everyone would love to see commentary as the game progresses.
I will run turns when all orders are submitted. Like always, all submitted order sets are considered "ready", so be sure you are happy with you orders before you submit the orders....

I too will look forward to the commentary, but I haven't seen a Titan's Game make it to Turn 15 so far. I'm pleased that Cipher could accommodate your special request. He is The One.

That is correct. Will has great confidence in his prognostication abilities...

There were two Titan games played so far. I played against Cipher and quickly realized I was as overmatched as I was back in the Epic days and conceded. On the flip side, I played against Wulfgar who conceded around the same time.
