It should be interesting, to say the least. I've definitely got a little work ahead of me, but that's half the fun!

Brief update:
Despite Ry Vor's glowing endorsement of Lord Thanatos, as it stands after 3 turns The Deliverer is, quite simply, killing it.
Deliverer - Thanatos
Regions: 1-0
Cities: 1-2, but lots of changes this turn (expecting 3-3)
Good looks: 1-0
I've generously given LT the chance to concede privately, but I secretly don't believe he will do so until turn 6.
Either way, at least he didn't "pull a Frankenhoff" and quit on turn 2.

Lord Thanatos has you thinking just what you think he wants you to think about what he wants you to think he is thinking, but in reality, he is thinking you aren't.
Put differently, "Step into my parlor, said the Spider to the Fly."

Actually, I don't think he's thinking at all.

That would be another possibility. But maybe he just wants you to think....

No, he's waiting to pull a Dusi and concede on turn 4.

Quick update...
Regions are 4:2 in favor of the favorite. Cities are much the same.
TR has 1, with some pesky RD group making itself a nuisance.
WI has 2
AN has 4, despite having RD and BL groups at both cities on turn 1.
GI has 5
DW has 6... you read that right, a DW somewhere other than region 3.
DA has 9, much sooner than I expected
My Rangers have taken a minor beating, with the 1RD deciding that my capital needed to be elsewhere. The bulk of the Ranger emissary corps was also given a month off to nap last turn as well, which was a bit of a bummer. Thankfully we're not at the point of camping, though LT knows that isn't far off.
The Deliverer currently has a lock on the council, holding 4 of the available seats (which likely explains how the GI and RD were able to recruit so much). The last seat is up for grabs this turn. Hoping to make a clean run of the whole council, but we'll see what LT has to say about that.
The good looks advantage remains with The Deliverer.

Another update in this one-sided posting of how awesome things are going for Dusi's Undoubtedly Devastating Empire (DUDE) as compared to LT's Grossly Underperforming, Rancid Legion (LT GURL).
Turn 5 has come and gone, and with it reinforcements have arrived to shore up the military might that is LT's kingdom choices. The Red and the Giant undoubtedly are very relieved to be able to bolster their troops, though the ability to feed said troops remains in doubt.
Not much has changed in the landscape of game 215, save for an additional region for The Deliverer, along with an additional HC seat, this time to the Troll. With the Warlock having denigrated the Demon Princes, declared them an enemy, and picked up the region of Arcania... things have gone from bad to worse for LT GURL. In the midst of winter, regions 7 and 10 remain open - with 10 being hotly contested by multiple kingdoms - and regions 8 and 9 are in the hands of DUDE's Warlock and Darkelf, respectively.
It is not all joy for The Deliverer, as the Giant troops have been very effective in weeding out some of the higher level emissaries of the opposition, having captured and killed a Warlock duke along with a Darkelven count and baron. The Ranger capital has been relocated and he is currently receiving a quality beatdown in the Sands, his attempted region from turn 1. Now the Red continues to harass his holdings in an unprecedented amount of cooperation between the two Dragon kingdoms.
To recap - DUDE controls 1, 4, 6, 8, and 9 for a total of 5 regions. LT GURL controls 2 and 5. The HC sees all 5 seats occupied by The Deliverer's kingdom. Based on the tournament rules, should DUDE pick up another region before LT GURL knocks one neutral or picks up a third, it will be a win for DUDE. Could we potentially see the skunk rule come into effect on turn 6?! Madness!! Surely Lord Thanatos has something up his sleeve...

LT has graciously conceded, citing an inability to deal with the Troll.
