Notifications When Players Leave The Game
#1
For clarity, because I don't believe we have it, I want one last shot at gauging public opinion.

Please do not take any of my comments as a personal insult or as a criticism of the game 'Alamaze', which I very much enjoy. Rather, I hope that my personal insight and unique perspective may, in some way, help make 'Alamaze' more fun, a more successful financial venture, or simply more sustainable as a long-term project. Anyone who reads this post should feel completely free to ignore, disregard, scorn, implement, improve, dispute, or otherwise comment upon its content.

My choice is 'whatever is easiest for the gamemaster' so I chose number 3. In fact, I think it's also the most realistic based on real world outcomes. In the middle ages, a kingdom that had fallen for whatever reason would not exactly hire town criers to tell the world about it. Those who found out would rush in to take advantage.
I would not really care of there was an automatic notification, I just think the gamemasters have enough on their plate and given the EXCELLENT value we are getting in terms of dollars per turns in this game, I don't want them to have to do anymore work unless they wish it.

Can we have a poll on having too many polls on the same subject?

The other poll was about eliminating players, not letting other players know. I don't really care what the final results are just so long as we are talking about the same thing.

I agree with Dupont. Part of this game is getting intel via in-game means or through communications outside the game. If you can't find out through those means, you shouldn't know.

It seems rather conclusive that most players prefer the current method.
