Monday is still good. Only so much you can do on turn 1 anyway.

There are times (most of the time) when I absolutely love this game.
Then there are times (like right now) when I absolutely hate this game.
I think I need to post a reminder for myself, "Always double-check your HC issue. Always double-check your HC issue. Always double-check your HC issue."
Then learning about yet another rules nuance that I never knew.
My own fault on both counts, but it's still incredibly frustrating.

With me declaring so many enemies, people are going to think I am an anti-social Troll.
So who wants to be friends? Bring it in for the Troll hug.
This thread was quiet and I am out of Troll jokes. Hope the holidays are going well!

MY APOLOGIES TO ALL MY FELLOW PLAYERS FOR THE DELAY TODAY.
The delay in processing today's turn was entirely my fault and I am sincerely sorry. I do empathize with you in understanding your agony in waiting for a turn to arrive because I was that guy who spent his lunch running home to the mailbox too many days in a row a decade or so ago. Life threw me a curve ball which upended my carefully organized schedule and I apologize for allowing my problems to affect each of your lives.
My sincerest apologies to each one of you (well, only begrudging apologies to RA and SO.)
On a final note, I thank Ry Vor and Grasshopper for understanding my plight and allowing an accommodation. This is great customer service! And I am ecstatically grateful!
My fellow gamers, please don't amplify my error and allow my failure to become a chorus of complaints to Ry Vor about the delay. I have great respect for each of my fellow gamers so that I believe that you desire to beat your opponents when they are performing at their best instead of by default because orders weren't submitted. The challenge of playing against clever, crafty and conniving opponents is a big part of the allure that is Alamaze... or so I believe.
Again, I truly am sorry.

I'll complain a little, I received no special treatment in this very game when I missed turn 2. I'm very happy for you
I did learn one thing from my "mentor".

Congrats to the Troll on his win. A hard fought game, we didn't get to tangle as I was inundated with Giants, Warlocks, and Red Dragons. Good game everyone.
