Do you know what English language PHD-research people say is the most beautiful word in the English language (after Alamaze)? Cellar-door. It's a phonetics thing.

I have a new city name I want under consideration.

I really like them but if forced to answer I would say:
1 Triesa, reminds me of Triesta a city in N Italy
2 Zarathon, it is a cool name, but doesn't seem to fit a woodland city
3 Meridon, too similar to meridian.
Lord Brogan

156 - GN

Hawk and Brogan,

Well, you each got one. Four cities will be renamed, including Zabzanka and Triesa. Three that are not changing were the seats of power hundreds of years ago under the Empire of the Westmen, the similar etymology of Meridon, Evanon, and Avalon. They will likely be retired, however, in the 3rd Cycle.

Sounds like I saw the message too late, but I would have voted for Triesa (just hard for me to say correctly), Vanasheen (sounds like a hair product) and Evanon (some kind of spring water, as was said up-thread).

The City Name Changes:

Zabzanka becomes Hammerhold

Triesa becomes Esteria Vale

Gurisek becomes Gundabar

Almaren becomes Jukanta
