At the end of 2013, a private tournament began among 6 personas who had decent experience playing the Titan format. The goal was to win bragging rights over Will and to determine the unofficial 'champion' of the titan format. After a couple of months of gaming, it appears safe to say that The Deliverer will be crowned champion.
However, it appears that certain formalities must be followed, one of which being actually playing the final Championship match. DuPont will do his best to delay the inevitable and, if you believe in miracles, possibly even take home the title himself. I respectfully anticipate his concession on turn 9, simply because he won't want me to have the joy of all 6 of my kingdoms achieving their ESOs while his are left wondering where things went wrong.
So, without further delay, let the picking begin!!
As the overwhelming favorite, I have the chore of picking first and I shall pick.....

Bah - the Ancient Ones are over-rated. Old fools. I desire their blood.
RD - Let their cities burn.
GI - Let them be crushed underfoot like I crush an insignificant spider.

Should throw two things out there:
1) This is on the original map.
2) Very predictable first picks by super dupont.
To counter, my two picks are:
Troll - Because I can't let Sassypants have all the military.
Ranger - Because my above comment reminded me that I once named a Ranger king of mine Hot Britches, which is a great reason to pick them.

Because I hate the AN, I must therefore pick the DE to burn their souls.
And even though I dislike getting natural enemies on the same team, I was suddenly reminded of this Bible verse:
I am black, but comely, oh ye daughters of Jerusalem. Look not down upon me because I am black.
Also, look not down upon me because I am, in fact, above thou, getting ready to fry you.

Interesting. Southern Fried Deliverer. Awesome!
Since DuPont wants to do quotes, here we go:
"Thank you, DuPont, for raising the gold production on this fine city I just took from you" - Sorcerer, game 108.
"Give me back my damn city!!" - Gnome, game 108
Sorcerer
Gnomes

Interesting kingdom choices so far. Will the north be a wasteland of inactive kingdoms?

Alas, there are big, empty spaces on the map. How best to fill them?
Often under-rated, it is a little remembered fact that the first kingdom to win in the 2nd cycle was the DA, helmed by the game designer no less.
I must have some magic and the WA seems dandy.

Seems that taking the Elf for a spin is the way to go.
Leaves a couple of vacuums, but that will lead to some interesting play!

Official teams, for those that just want to skip to the punchline:
DuPont's Goldraisers:
Red Dragon
Giant
Demon Princes
Black Dragon
Warlock
Darkelf
The Deliverer's Big Booty Bros:
Ancient Ones
Troll
Ranger
Sorcerer
Gnome
Elf
Should be interesting, to say the least. I don't think I've seen quite this match-up before. Definite military bent to Goldraisers, and a very concentrated map to start for the Bros.
I think we'd both be interested in hearing feedback on our choices.
