Name is Dave Szum. The only PBEM games I have played is Magic Realm in a more informal venue. It has a very nice tool for execution in Realm Speak, although some GM bugs are apparently being still worked out. Also, it is a very different sort of game than this - very different. This game was recommended by old friends and I thought I would give it a try. One very positive observation for you all is that the community here seems to possess a very nice combination of mentoring and the desire to win - a very difficult balance to achieve. I look forward to playing with you all. Cool

Helpful hint #1...Read the rules a lot.

It often gives you ideas for strategies and even very experienced players botch orders sometimes because the forgot a detail.
