I assume you can raise Food production in a city that starts with a negative production, correct? Seems like this could be important to do before the winter season...

Yes, you can. And yes, it can be important, especially since that negative number doubles in the bad season.

Yes, you can. And yes, it can be important, especially since that negative number doubles in the bad season.

I haven't tried this lately, but in the old days it was important to raise the production during non winter months. Otherwise you lost half the gain.

Can anyone confirm if this is this still the case?

I know with a spell during winter it does correct amount. Btw great thing to do if you have a kingdom that gets 602 at lvl 2
