This was a sticky wicket. Thankfully hasn't happened before, but also means there was no precedent.

The thinking was this game would go to either WA or DA and the other kingdoms had no chance to win, although perhaps change position.

My kudos to Deliverer who chivalrously agreed to allow a re-run that may cost him the title. If Wynand thinks it is fair to allow Jumpingfist (GN) to also change his orders, I'm ok with it. BTW, Deliverer has declared he won't change his orders even though that was the proviso of a re-run.

To be honest, my suggestion is that there should be no order changes and I give my word I will not do anything that uses knowledge gained for the turn run today. That would seem the most fair....although definitely not perfect.

If JF changes his orders, the SO and RA should get to change theirs as well. That's not fair to Kevin, imho.

Les - I'm fairly confident I would have declared successfully this turn regardless of your plan (which was good but something I had to anticipate).

I had all of the census info for region 7...fyi. Anyway, no hard feelings obviously.

seriously you were going to raise your census when you would have had 78305 to my 53476. that is one hell of a anticipation. power to you. enjoy

(DE). While I did think the orders where do on Monday and did not yet send in orders I understand that anything I did would have very little effect on my or others position. So re-run or don't either way this was a very enjoyable game. I learned a tremendous amout from my tussle with the RA.

It is not your word I am questioning. I fully believe you will try to do your turn as you would have. It is the idea of anticipating the moves. They have already played out so by reading the turn it is already in your head of the tactic. You may very well have predicted it was possible to gain 25k census owning only two PCs. May not even matter. Maybe you have something hidden I do not know about. Will find out Monday.
I also have no problem with you doing your turn. What else could be done in this situation. It is clear you and Deliverer would have won this game just crappy the mistake happened on a turn where two players were going for the win. Lucky as well when a game was run early and one of my kingdoms missed a turn even though I had it in on time. Nothing happened no rerun. My only protest was to drop that game.

Let's focus on the important thing... which is that - for two days at least - I was the sole winner of 146.

This game is no longer listed on my validator so I'm assuming an excel sheet to support will suffice.

Yes, I suggest using the Excel method to Active Games. I don't think Cipher saw my note to him to that effect that his time is better spent otherwise than trying to restore the web order entry so he may be working on that.
