Do spells go up to 9th level? What about wizard levels?

I believe SO and WA stop getting new spells at P8. WI gets a few crappy spells at P9. The max P level I believe would be P14. 9 + 3 over max + two rings.

Additional levels also equals extra power to useful spells like tornado, shield, etc. That said, an extra two levels of shield might not be worth the cost of researching a p-9

If you have a W-7 do you have to have another wizard to protect him every turn ? Otherwise having spent all that money building him up, just to see him die as you need the spells

I have been curious if the presence ability is kingdom specific. Meaning does a P8 WA cast a tornado as an offensive presence spell? Or is presence just kind of generic?

When we get all remaining stuff done for 2nd Cycle, there will be a complete makeover for spells for 3rd Cycle.

Yes, it is doubtful that spending the gold for P8 is justified, although that could be a SVC.

Again, players join the forum at different times, and a half dozen spells have been modified here in 2nd Cycle - mainly to the dismay of those old veterans who used them routinely to obliterate the unsuspecting and uninitiated.

You can get a P8 no problem by turn 12-14 or so. Could be a 40 turn game = Need more levels/spells
