Ok, that leaves us with 4 slots open I believe.
Are people ok with listing your first 3-4 choice kingdoms and having support assign from there? Or maybe 3 yeses and 3 no's. Whatever works.

I still don't get why Anonymous is so popular. I get it in a PC game like Company of Heroes, etc, but not in a game intended to have diplomacy like Alamaze. Again, is this a 3 v 1 issue that needs to be fixed? And I say that as a reluctant diplomat, so I get the effort involved, but I think the enjoyment in full diplomacy games is where our sweet spot should be.

At Victor level (5 games), I like to keep at least one Anon game in the mix because I can dispatch my orders quickly without the need to coordinate with anyone. That helps me manage the time I spend with my orders every week.
Pound for pound, I much prefer Full Diplomacy. I'm with you, that's where the game is best and I'd guess that it's where most folks' nostalgia lies as well.

For a full diplomacy game, to have the best chance you need to REALLY coordinate among allies and at least touch base with other kingdoms to have some idea of what is going on. To give yourself the best chance you almost need to act as one with an ally (or allies) and share all information. This is very laborious and requires a lot of communication (and trust) and so I think everyone does some portion of sharing. The whole map may not develop into teams but there will certainly be some allied kingdoms working in some degree of concert so there is additional pressure to keep active communication. My problem is that I am always feeling as though more could/should be done/coordinated and that if I'm not super on top of my communication with a lot of different players then I am perhaps at a disadvantage.
I think it would be very hard to play a full diplomacy game without an ally or allies and NAP's. But maybe I'm overrating the need, IDK.
In an Anon game I just have to worry about myself and my agenda. Don't have to ask for information or favors or give any. And as Cloud says it is much faster to get the ANON game orders done which allows me to focus on more games.
