DE princes and regents
#1
Question: If the DE lose their king, and a DE prince is used as a regent due to no other emmy of prince rank, that is fine. However, if you raise another emmy to prince rank, does the DE prince who was drafted to be regent given his/her status as a DE prince again with all the powers, leaving the mortal emmy to regent status?

Sadly, I don't believe it does. My understanding was that the regent doesn't change unless they are killed or the king returns.

To avoid that, I believe that if you have a regular prince at the time your king is captured or killed, the regular prince will be made the regent in place of your DE princes.

Mauler is correct. If your. Demon Prince becomes Regent, the only way to get him back is to get your king back.

When I played the Demon Prince, I quickly promoted a noble to Prince and spent the game guarding him and keeping him out of the line of danger.
