Turn 4 has come and all kingdoms but the sturdy dwarf have captured a region. I'm a bit frustrated with people not keeping their word. I had 2 agreements, one with the Gnome to be friendly untill regions were taken however he has issued hostile orders, before the promised time, and I had a 12 turn NAP with the Black, which he has ignored on turn 4 by voting no on my HC issue. I now see why people like the anonymous games. Being lied to is very disheartening.

Interested to see what role the powerful Warlock will take and when.

I voted against the Elves in High Council. If you consider that hostile, the rest of the game might be an eye opener.... Rolleyes

Not voting at all, is neutral.
Voting Yes, is friendly or neutral
Voting NO is a hostile act.
I played when it cost .22 cents to mail my turn to NC.

What is Eye opening is So far is, out of 5 players in this game, 2 have broken their word. Is the rest of the Alamaze player base like this? Is this why the anonymous games were invented?

Expecting to raise your influence cheaply is hostile. Framing the question so that we broke our word, is quite clever, but wasn't it you who stretched what is acceptable?

And don't get me started on your usurping control of the city in Torvale. I certainly considered that a hostile move.

In short, if you perceive hostility, you might consider what has occurred to provoke it, rather than dwelling on rather minor slights. I certainly consider that you had broken your word first, I just didn't feel the need to trumpet it on the public forum.

I have found the player base to be mostly honorable. There are a few that try and skirt the line of a deal but overall NAPs and Alliances are rarely broken normally at risk of the forum attack that comes from such actions. For the anon game the number one reason is teaming up that does happen. I did notice in the games with the more experienced players there have been much less teaming up.

You win Smile

If you think raising one influence on the HC, or moving into a Neutral city is a hostile act, then the line is drawn pretty low on being able to "break" agreements based on ones own beliefs, which makes the entire process subjective at best. Can't argue that, Congratulations, it's brilliant even. The Harry O school of thought. Smile

I'm likin g the conflict I see in this game - you really need to practice with maximum Richard mode =on.

This is NOTHING compared with a full game.

Congratulations to the Dwarven Lord for capture of the Talking Mountains!

We are 5 turns away from out first ESO opportunity. Now is a good time to review those goals and see what you may need to do to accomplish them.

Another thing to look at is standing orders. We can all use 7 standing orders at this point (4 starting +3 for our regions) getting some standing orders going is a good move to maximize the development of your kingdom.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Winter is over and the Elven Kingdom has become the first nation to capture his second region.

Congratulations to the Elven leaders. But will they be able to hang on to their holdings?

The High Council has become divided with the Black Dragon and Gnome fighting the Elves and Dwarves. The Warlock has chosen to abstain so far.

Well each Kingdom has the easy opportunity to get two regions. I'm sure the rest are just a turn behind.
